R & J Bait & Tackle

I've only been in Florida for about a year now, and I've been exploring the fishing here. R&J Bait and Tackle has been my go to bait store since I moved here. I've tried basically every bait shop around and hands down R&J is my personal favorite. Always served with great customer service, very competitive prices, and lively bait, I'll continue to bring my business here. It is definitely the kind of bait shop I grew up going to with my dad, and it brings back fond memories. I will continue to bring my business here time and time again.

R&J has been around since I was a kid. It's always been our family's go-to for bait & tackle needs, propane, and so much more. Items are competitively priced, much lower than most places, and they're ine if the very rare hard to find places left that fill your propane tank, most places take your brand new tank as trade for an already filled tank in used beat up condition that's nit always completely full at a much higher price than what R&J charges to fill your tank completely with much faster service. The owners feel and treat us like family. They're very hard-working, humble, good-hearted, kind, and caring people who always serve me with a smile. Best mom and pop store around, pray they're be here for many many more generations.

I love this place. I haven’t fished in almost 2 years, since my husband died but walking in here made me want to fish again. Today, I just wanted some live worms for my backyard chickens. The lovely woman SHOWED me different kinds, pouring out 1/2 pint containers for me to see! Then I sheepishly said, “I’m, I just want them for my chickens.” She nodded wisely and didn’t skip a beat, “Which do you think they want.” I’ll take them both! I will be back. 😀

Im still here in the parking lot and the homegrown service andnquality of bait is great. The young lady always greets me with a smile and very informative. Mayb cause our hair is the same idk, but she knows what she is talking to you about. Keep up the great work!

Shopped at this local bait shop a few times. Very helpful lady, I think she may be the owner. Seems like they have been there forever.

Lovely, knowledgeable and friendly people. Modest inventory and some dated lures, etc., but truly everything you need (including beer and snacks!). For those too young to remember, this is what a bait/tackle shop was and should be, before e-tailing and superstores.

After you visit you will have everything you need for a good day by the water. All you need after that is just some luck :)
