This trail runs from Gemini Springs SOUTH trailhead to Green Springs Park around the northern border of Lake Monroe. It was a nice paved trail with a few areas where one could go off trail hiking or mountain biking. I enjoyed most of the trail as it ran through the wooded areas. There were also several benches along the trail. However once a mile or so past Gemini Springs NORTH trailhead the route is adjacent to some main roads for a few miles. :( On my return trip, I went off the mapped route and road Lakeshore Drive and Children’s way adjacent to the lake and met up to the route on Main St. I’d highly recommend that doing this in either or both directions. If you’re riding a MTB as I was, there are several places where you can ride a log side the trail through grass or stone. But this is mainly a paved road bike trail. At Green springs there were several hiking trails which were easily navigable with an MTB. I also tried a couple trails, near the South trailhead, that eventually were blocked by water or became too muddy for me. Although a bit odd, I was impressed with the restroom facilities at the parks. Generally single rooms with locks on each.

The trail is simply splendid. Very pleasant to walk, run, or ride bikes. The experience of walking through the forest while on a paved trail just outside Blue Springs Park is a must do if you enjoy hiking. No bathrooms.

Love swimming in the 72 degree, cold water at the springs. Makes your skin and hair feel so nice for days. Also helps with them old muscles make them feel nice for a couple days everybody needs a little Cold Spring water. Crystal clear fresh spring water that boils up from the Earth 72° year-round.

Great ride; probably the prettiest of all the trail segments around the DeLand, DeBary, Osteen area. Although it's short at 14 miles, 3-4 more miles can be added by doing the 'banana tree' extension and the loop around Lake Beresford parking lot/playground.

Well maintained, wide, paved trail. From DeBary to Blue Springs is just over three miles. Another 3.5 miles goes north to Lake Beresford. Wildlife all around.

This is a great Trail for biking or walking. The new extension that runs into DeBary is very nice with a few hills that will get your heart rate going.

Great paved trail for everything from walking dog, roller blading, biking or riding your half E-Bike. Trail begins at Lk Beresford Park and ends at DeBary Plantation Drive for total of about 9 miles one way or 18 round trip. Get there early evening or sheriff will lock your car in.

Great biking, walking trail. Very wide, smooth, well maintained and very friendly people of all ages. From time to time you will see some wildlife...deers, rabits, turtles, snakes, bears...but no hostility...just show some respect and common sense. You will get a few rare idiots who don't pick up their dog poo...but again...it's expected.

Plenty of shade and connects to Blue Springs State Park and Bearsford Park loop. You can expected a full range round trip around 20 miles.

Great trail. It is being built in stages and will eventually connect all the local springs together. Through the blue springs nature preserve section you can sometimes spot dear grazing.

Beautiful. Just wish people didn't litter so much all the time. People have vandalized a lot of the stuff. Fences have been crashed in to, trash cans ripped off their stands, signs have been damaged, etc. So nice to explore yet the people who live nearby have no respect.

Make a memory in West Volusia
Best sunset in West Volusia county! Blue Spring has any number of natural vistas, but this one this them all for drama and depth of beauty. This location atop the pedestrian walkover offers a panoramic splash of the most striking sunset pastels in central Florida.
Park at the purpose-built lot that serves as trail head for the North and South branches of the S2S trail. Remember: Blue Spring road, not W.French.
Spend the morning at DAB (catch a sunrise!) then stroll thru Deland's historic artisan district on your way to something light at one of Deland's many sidewalks cafes and finish with a breathtaking sunset. Delight your sweetheart,or share the wonders of Creation with your kids

Blue Spring is basically my backyard! I live in the area and walk to the Spring often. They take great care of the park and you can almost always spot some wildlife!
