Jena Medical Family Walk-In

I was treated here for few years and felt like I was in caring hands. It is hard to find doctors that take an enterest in helping you these days. Would still be seeing them for my needs if I hadn’t moved out of state. Great care and enterest in your needs here!

Dr. Brown is kind, patient and knowledgeable. Tough to find such a humble and modest doctor who always listens and truly cares. Thanks to Dr. Brown and his staff for always treating me with dignity and respect!

As I am reading so many of these negative reviews, regarding staffs rude and/or unprofessional behaviors, it’s worth the mention that when we are sick, sometimes, WE are not the nicest people and tend to misinterpret others as more rude or not nice because our pain or the pain of our loved ones can cause heightened aggression. Just be good to each other and practice empathy. I have been a patient over 20 years and NEVER had an issue. The staff gets me in, even when there’s not an opening, they are professional and Dr. James Brown is an amazing physician. Let’s remember our medical staff has been through more than most and a little understanding may be required. Remember “use as directed” and they have a tendency for a “high rate of abuse”. Best doctors office I've ever visited. I became a patient of Dr. Brown's 16 years ago (2005) and he has remained my primary care physician ever since. He is a very atentative and genuine physician who is easy to talk with. The staff has always been very professional and caring as well as understanding when I've had to reschedule my appointment at the last minute. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great primary care/general practitioner. Ryan

I've been going to Jena clinic for years and have never had a bad experience (even when test results weren't good news.) My primary is Brown, and what I appreciate the most is that he actually listens to my concerns and tries to find different routes for me to take when it comes to expensive or painful testing or treatments. (My previous doctor was a pill-pusher, but Brown understands that I don't like taking anything that would effect my judgement or job performance.)

I've seen a couple of the other doctors as a walk-in, and they are also very good about addressing my concerns while treating whatever injury I've managed to do to myself.

The only downside is that the office is usually very busy. It is not uncommon to be waiting an hour past a scheduled appointment, so bring a book or something to pass the time. But as far as I'm concerned, the quality of care is worth the wait.

Yanelis Leyva is compassionate and an excellent caregiver. A very intelligent, bright personality with a captivating smile. She listens with all her heart that makes a difference to me...i'm not just a number...My health improves since I started seeing her,all my labwork numbers are quite good!

I love Jena Medical! I see Yanni and she is amazing and always helpful. I also actually love the office staff as well. I'm not sure why so many seem to have a problem with them.. They are always nice to me and sometimes we even joke around. Maybe someone you spoke with was having a bad day? Either way, they are great!

He really cares about his patients. Understands how expensive lab work/testing can be, even with insurance. Best office staff, too. Recently started texting appointment reminders along with phone call, which is awesome! I'll never go anywhere else!

I have had lung surgery I've needed to see dr. Brown for almost a year they're forcing me to have jury duty I can't sit in a room without throwing up blood the staff at Jena medical will not help me they are the most inconsiderate non-caring in compassionate human beings I've ever met in this world and I hope that somebody in their family are their children get sick and they put their self in a situation like I'm in again Doctor Brown has been the most understanding and compassionate doctor I've seen throughout this but I would not recommend anybody to go there and deal with that front desk if I was a girl I would come in there and punch every one of them right in the mouth apparently my life don't matter even though I put my pants on the same way they all do

Dr Brown was extremely helpful with my concerns regarding my visit. he listened and spoke with me like a person and a doctor not just
the latter.will continued to come back because hes the only doctor who understood my illness as its controversial (fibromyalgia) and prescribed excatly what i neededed to finally dight rhia

I absolutely, hands down love this dentist office. All the other's are money sucking jokes. Especially greenburg dental. They were very gentle, kind and welcoming. I had three teeth taken out and greenburg wanted to send me to a specialist to rack up a bigger bill. This dentist is very very knowledgeable and actually cares about his patients. I will never go to another dentist and highly recommend them to all my friends and family. What other dentist will send you a welcome card in the mail?

I’ve been going to Jena Medical almost exclusively since I was sixteen. Dr. Yoon and Dr. Brown have always been amazingly gentle and empathetic.

I've been seeing Dr Yoon for several years and have never had any problem. The staff are excellent. Very professional. Dr Yoon always listens to me, never feel rushed.

Always courteous staff, wonderful nurses and doctors. They always willing to help you with anything, it is not a burden for them, and they do follow up with you every time. Very greatful that I found them.
