On a Thursday night I received instructions to wire money because we were going to be closing on our house that following day. I tried to wire the money online but for the amount I was sending it gave me a notification that I needed to go in person. Never did it say I needed to make an appointment. On Friday I went in to wire the money and the man at the door said I could not be helped because I did not have an appointment. I explained to him the situation (closing was that day) and he was adamant about not being able to help me. I honestly thought about just closing my account because it just doesn’t make sense to me that this was an urgent matter and I could not be helped. Luckily my husband went to another Wells Fargo and the ladies completely understood our situation and helped us wire the money so we could close on our house that afternoon.
