InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta, an IHG Hotel

This is a beautiful hotel! The rooms are clean, well maintained and mine had a great view of Buckhead area and the sunset.
The downside: most of the people were great but a few acted like I didn't belong or wasn't worthy of the hotel. The business center computers were not working to print something we need and the front desk was no help.

I have to say this chain is impressing me. I have noticed they are hitting it out of the park every time. The only thing I noticed is that I had 1 bath towel on my first night. Then my second night, they didn't leave me any at all. I'm not quite sure if that was on purpose. Have you tried drying off with a hand towel? It's not a thing. Trust me. It's not enough to take away a star but enough to mention.

Absolutely flawless! My daughter and I spent a girls' weekend here recently and loved every minute. It is not only a beautiful hotel, but the service from check-in to check-out was wonderful. The Americano restaurant was excellent. Room service breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. And the rooms themselves were lovely. Well maintained, super comfy beds, and beautifully appointed. I especially appreciated unique touches such as the stack of antique books beside the beds and the in-room ipad. Would definitely stay here again.

We had the most amazing honeymoon here!! Shout out to Jasmine who was above and beyond accommodating us. She was so kind and polite. Thank you!! Will definitely be back!

Booked a room for my parents for my dad’s 60th Birthday and boy I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the valet, to the receptionist everyone was just so kind and really went out of their way to make his birthday special. I booked them the couples massage and added the lounge experience to their stay they really enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour. The hotel is right in the middle of everything you can walk to Lenox Mall if you want to so it’s really convenient. Emmanuel was a doll always willing to help us. I stopped by one day and enjoyed the lobby restaurant the calamari and wine were great as to be expected. Of all the hotels I could have chosen I’m so happy that I chose this one. Thank you all so much for being so kind, ugh kindness is so rare now a days but boy when you find it it warms your heart. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend and I’ll keep you guys in mind when I plan my wedding. 😊

Oh I forgot to mention there were weddings and even private events happening while we stayed and we were still made to feel so special. Book this place y’all.

I stayed here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The entire experience was wonderful from arrival to departure. The rooms are beautiful and the amenities are top notch. We ate at the restaurant and it was wonderful also

I had a conference to attend and we stayed at the InterContinental. The rooms were very clean and neat. Service was awesome from the front desk to the room upkeep. The staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend !.

My first time experiencing this place! I had a high floor and was able to view the street below and other tall buildings in the area. I guess they don't expect you to have leftovers of anything so there was no microwave or refrigerator. Lol... So I made sure I ate everything for the two days I was there. They had a steamer to use for your clothes. I'll be the first to admit, I'd never used one before. 🫣😂 First time for everything! The experience of luxurious accommodations! The sheets and bed were amazing!!

Was here for a conference. The shower was the cleanest hotel shower I've seen in a LONG time! Even some other high-end hotel showers haven't been as clean as theirs. I have a pet peeve about clean showers (can't you tell🤣). The staff was super helpful and went above and beyond to ask if any assistance was needed. First class service all around.

This was my 1st stay t the InterContinental. I was impressed with the valet, door service, room service, and ambiance of the hotel. I did not understand the refrigerator usage as in it was fully stocked with alcohol but no where to put your own products. I heard that most rappers stay here so I wanted to feel like a VIP. This place made me feel that way. Highly recommend.

A beautiful hotel in a great location. Rooms are beautiful and beds are comfortable. We had a great view. The staff is very friendly, Emmanuelle checks us in and checked on us throughout our stay. We were recognized by our name and treated great. Our server at the Americana restaraunt was awesome, she said she had only been there a couple weeks, but she done a great job, thank you Victoria. The valet parking guys were super helpful. We will def be staying there again.

Perfectly situated 5 star hotel with all the services you could ever need. Housekeeping is professional and there is attention to detail.

Modern refurb is a real plus and the members lounge is excellent. Ness, Andre and Hasna make it an experience not to be forgotten!

My family and I traveled to ATL for a short weekend trip! I have to say from the time we pulled up the the door to the time we left— we were treated like ROYALTY. Every single person we encountered was super pleasant. We were all so impressed and felt so welcome. This entire staff deserves a round of applause. 👏 👏

I booked a 3-night getaway here to celebrate my wife's birthday. Although I've been a platinum IHG member, I've never tried an Intercontinental hotel, however I'm aware of their reputation. After staying here I can definitely say it's a world-class hotel chain. It's not the cheapest by far, although I have to admit we've paid more per-night for a very lower-quality hotel in NYC a number of times. That being said, the service here was absolutely top-notch. Starting with my call before we arrived in town with Tony at the front desk, he helped me add another night to the 2 nights I had already booked in the same room with no hassle at all. We drove into town from NC and I already knew the self-parking fee was $45/night with unlimited in/out privileges in the hotel garage, which I preferred to the higher valet parking fee (I also prefer to park myself, rather than hand my car over to a valet). In my research before booking the Intercontinental I was amazed at how many other hotels in the metro area would not give unlimited in/out without paying the higher valet fees, even if they offered self-parking. Check-in was smooth, the room was exactly what I asked for (high floor, away from elevator/ice machine), and the room itself was fantastic. It was a King Classic room, with an L-shaped couch, large flat-screen and a Keurig machine. The bath had a full-size soaking tub, dual sinks, and a separate shower stall. One particular thoughtful feature was the motion-sensors built into the nightstands on each side of the bed: if you got up in the middle of the night, the down-lights under each stand would light as you walked away and then came back to bed! Also of note, the climate control in our room was better than any other I've experienced in a hotel, and the room was absolutely QUIET every night - no doubt due to much better sound deadening. We happened to run into the concierge, Preston, on our first night, and he was a wealth of information. He gave us maps and a booklet on what to see in Atlanta that we kept to plan another getaway later this year for the holiday season. Each day we had occasion to interact with Preston and he always took care of us. All the staff from the front desk to housekeeping and everyone in-between was very professional, courteous, and had answers to all our questions during our stay. We didn't take advantage of the in-house spa on the second floor, which is also where the heated salt-water pool and hot tub are. My one disappointment with this stay would be that the hot tub was not working while we were there. I tried to take a soak on our first morning before heading out only to find the jets were not working, and the water was just warm. A maintenance worker happened to come out while I was still there and tried to start the jets to no avail. I thought he might have gotten it fixed, but each time I checked (usually morning and evening) it still wasn't working. Since this didn't really impact the quality of our stay I don't see needing to lower the rating any. The Americano restaurant is an absolute gem, and I've reviewed that separately. We will be staying here again for another getaway that we're planning later in the year. I highly recommend The Intercontinental Buckhead if you want to spoil yourself!

Great location, very convenient to everything. The people who work here are so kind 😇 and helpful. This is our 2nd time here on business. Maybe next time we can spend more time outdoors, although the hotel is amazing! See you again soon!

Amazing service. The gentleman at the front desk checking us in went out of his way to help us figure everything out, the room was clean and spacious, we enjoyed the gym, and the bar and breakfast was top notch.

The hotel is excellent. The service was great, the lobby and rooms are spacious and beautiful, and the restaurant had good food, drinks, and service. The are several fast elevators. The location seems like a nice area, although it's a bit far from the airport.

A lovely hotel situated in the Buckhead area, the Intercontinental is a perfect place for business travel and conferences. The staff are friendly, the hotel is gorgeous, and the rooms are large and beautifully decorated. And who doesn't love turndown service?

Excellent hotel, service was outstanding and rooms were very comfortable. Attended a conference in the hotel, food and meeting rooms were very nice. Highly recommend.

We are Cartersville locals so drive about 45 mins to get here. This is our second time staying here! The first time was just to have a weekend to ourselves and relax. The second was for our 11 year anniversary. Unfortunately our baby sitter fell through but we were so looking forward to going that we took our son with us. The hotel staff was of course amazing. The musician in the lobby was great! We had dinner at a nearby restaurant and decided to have some
drinks and dessert at the hotel restaurant. Phenomenal. They found out it was our anniversary and very sweetly gave us some champagne to enjoy along with some chocolates and a little dessert that said “Happy Anniversary” with a candle on it. They gave our son some ice cream. A few staff came over to wish us a happy anniversary. My father in law went to a prestigious hotel school in South Africa and is big on hospitality. The little things you can do to personalize a guests experience and make them feel welcome and taken care of. Intercontinental checks all the boxes In my opinion :) plus the deep soaking tub is a huge plus and we’ve had zero issues with noise in our room, beddings comfortable and everything’s very clean! The manager whose name starts with an M (his name escapes me at the moment im so sorry!) is super sweet as well! I would recommend staying here :)
