La Citadelle Bakery in Lawrenceville is an absolute gem! Their Haitian patties are out of this world – so good that I find myself driving across town just to get them. I tried both the chicken and fish patties, and they were phenomenal. The pastry is flaky and perfectly baked, while the fillings are flavorful and well-seasoned. My children and husband particularly loved the fish patty, which was a hit with the entire family. Each bite of the patty was a delightful experience. This bakery has become a favorite for us, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for authentic, delicious Haitian cuisine. A must-visit for sure!

Great customer service and delicious food that is on point! I haven’t had true, authentic Haitian food like this since I left Miami (Little Haiti). They always have patty and can special order vegetarian options if you call ahead. This place is so great and I drive over 40min in ATL traffic just to get some food from here….worth it everytime! I love having access to authentic Haitian food right here in Lawrenceville! What I order the most are the “Haitian Patties”. They are usually made and ready to order. But if I’m having a party I call and order ahead a dozen or two. The patty is a puffed pastry filled with savory meat. It’s so good! One bite gets crumbs everywhere where, but oh it’s worth it!

I ordered the Haitian bread and 3 dozen patties. Delicious! I called ahead, service was prompt and the cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up adding quite a few items to my order including their tasty lemonade and my all time favorite Jupina pineapple soda. Yum!

Had that chicken special. Whew. That spicey sauce took my mouth for a surprise which I wasn’t ready for. Lots of flavor and tad bit of heat. “I wasn’t ready” in my Kevin Hart voice. Enjoyed the coconut bread as well. The best part was the owner came out to speak to me. Thank you for your time and service.

This is our first time being there and everything was very tasty. We ordered 2 stewed chicken, Griot plate and a couple of Patties. I feel the price was fair for the amount of food we got. The service was prompt and the food was fresh. It was worth the drive.

This is a really good Haitian restaurant in Georgia. My favorite meal to get there is the fried chicken plate with rice and beans. The food tastes great and the customer service is also awesome. They are not stingy with the portions. My only wish is that they would be closer to where I live. But when I’m craving some good Haitian food and I don’t want to chance disappointment, I go to La Citadelle Bakery. They are worth the long drive in Atlanta’s traffic.

The food is made to order so if you order there be ready to wait about 20 mins BUT the food is worth the wait. My fiancé and I had the fried chicken and giot (fried pork) and we loved it all. We’ll be back!

I’m giving them 5 stars because the Fish with rice and peas or black rice is so good. Pickliz is good if you like tang and spice so I get extra 😂. Sometimes I get the fried chicken with white rice

GREAT FOOD and they make you feel right at home if you choose to dine in. Everything made fresh once you order. I don't even live close but I'll definitely drive there for some REAL Haitian food when I'm craving it.

The patties here are delicious and flaky. I don't get patties from anywhere else but here. I order in advance, and it is ready on time. The friendliness of workers could be better, but that's what happens when you have kids working the register. Rose is very nice.

I called and placed an order earlier in the day for a dozen beef patties and 2 packs of bread. Came a little early and no one there knew of my order for the patties. They ended up giving me someone else’s “beef” patties and when I came home it was chicken. Highly disappointed; I live an hour away. Not the first time they’ve done something wrong...this is my first time saying something about it because it’s becoming repetitive.

I recently visited La Citadel Haitian Bakery & Cuisine, and I absolutely appreciated the treatment received from the Cashier. She was very courteous, pleasant and professional. I was welcomed & thanked for my patronage. Not only was the place very clean with good lighting, it also smelled fresh, and the food was very hot and irresistible. I truly enjoyed the impeccable service that I received. I'll undoubtedly, recommend this exclusive Haitian Restaurant to anyone with taste buds that can detect excellence.
