La Victoria

Found this establishment as I was riding around town in search of a good Mexican restaurant. This place turned out to be a jewel. 100 % authentic Mexican cuisine. A wide variety of spoon and serve dishes as well as a full menu of freshly prepared dishes. To top it off, there's a full market of fresh product from produce to hand cut meat with everything in between. A definite stop when in the Lawrenceville area

I've lived close to this store for 6 years, and I really started to appreciate it when Covid hit. Everyone was running to the big stores for food, and this little gem came through with what I needed at a non inflated price. Since then, it's my go-to store. Their vegetables and herbs are the best. Buying cilantro, I always thought that this herb had to be used right away because every single time that I bought it, it barely lasted 3 days without starting to go bad. I bought some from this store and used only half. After a whole week, the left over half was still fresh. Definitely the place to get your fresh goods!
Not to forget their meat, it's also very fresh.
They have a little bistro selling in the back.

Oh my goodness! Earlier today, my wife and I decided to go to "La Victoria Supermarket" for some food shopping. I was totally impressed not only with the way the products were arranged, but also with the courteousness of the employees. We were greeted upon arrival by the Cashier (Mr. Sebastian), who was very happy to see us. The store was very clean, smelled fresh and inviting, the lighting was perfect. La Victoria's produce was excellently displayed and everything looked great, nice and fresh. I had the pleasure to see and talk with the Owner (Mr. Antonio Nunez), he's indeed a gentleman, who seems to care about his customers and that should mean a lot to all patrons. I had the privilege of tasting La Victoria's "Superior Pollo Asado"; I was amazed by the Great taste and aroma of this Special dish, which I enjoyed to the fullest. I unequivocally, recommend "La Victoria Supermarket" to anyone who's looking for great produce, outstanding food and exemplary Customer Service. In my book, "La Victoria Supermarket" deserves an A+.

Very nice market that has some tasty prepared food options. Friendly staff. Hosts a nice food truck Friday and weekend nights in the parking lot. Nice selection of groceries at a fair price. Good for quick essentials too.

Very tasty food, they give you huge plates 8 couldnt finish the food. The taco truck they have outside is also really good. 100 percent recommended.

I love this place!! They're meats are well priced as well as their hot food items. They've got some of the freshest fruit around. It's a one stop shop with all your household essentials like laundry detergent, otc medicine, and kitchen gadgets. Everyone is also so friendly and helpful, especially the owner. Love La Victoria!

These people are life savers ! I have an office Christmas party and we all have to bring a dish , I thought about cooking something but then I got this last minute idea of taking tamales in instead so I called them. I felt so bad because I know tamales take a while and they are hard work, but they were so sweet and told me not to worry I would have my tamales the exact same day that I ordered them !!! great customer service , and the reason I thought of them was because their food is so darn delicious ! Please give them a try ! so worth it !

Congratulations Edgar you are doing an awesome job that you told me about to make sure there’s no small bones with the meat therefore I will come back; because I feel confidence knowing that here is something they are doing well in favor of their customers. Awesome meat market and always fresh produce. Great place to stop in for a few things for dinner. Or you can eat there if you decide you don't wanna cook. Very nice people they gave me free chichirones and they were great. When I just came here if you don't know what to cook. The inspiration is real AF

Great spot for all your butcher shop needs. Fresh produce and latino brands that you look for at chain grocery stores but cannot find. The taqueria is wonderful and has the best tasting authentic food in the area. Large portions and kind service. We will be back soon!

This is a very nice store. I purchased an authentic molcajete, root brush and molinillo from here along with a few authentic Mexican cooking ingredients. A very bright and clean store with friendly employees. I will definitely shop here again!

I absolutely love this Mexican grocery store because they have not only Mexican food but they have American food also but their meat is the best I would give it a 100% thumbs up because it's all fresh you can see it you can have it cut at any time anyway you want it and the feeling in the whole store is wonderful because no matter what race you are they welcome you look like Open Arms though yes this is a really good place to go to get your side of be so to speak

Took me two stores to try out. Butcher was a great guy and explained I was given the wrong thing at the last store. He cut the meat and made it for me. I know my go to place now!!! Thanks for the service and treating me like you want to be treated!!

Got some very tasty mangoes

Ok, seriously the best barbacoa in the state, get it in the red sauce and make a quesadilla with Oaxaca cheese and you will not be sorry. The staff are extremely welcoming and funny! Decent prices with clean well stocked shelves.

Great place, shop here all the time tomatillos, bread for tortas. Everything you need for that special dish. If you get lazy and don’t want to cook, the tamales and menudo on the weekends are a great choice.
