Piedmont Imaging of Brookhaven

Getting an MRI done while 29 weeks pregnant is not usual and for weeks I was nervous. My technician I believe her name was Laura was the BEST! She talked me through the whole procedure and made sure I was comfortable. She went above and beyond. I am claustrophobic and I did not have any issues at all.

Had an X-ray of my shoulder. Clean office. I was in and out in 10 mins. Imaging is on the 2nd floor. Can park up there or take the elevator if you park on the lower deck.

I've had a CT scan and MRI done here, and both experiences were top notch. As one who feels anxious about scans, both techs were so comforting and put me at ease. Other Piedmont imaging locations have been great, but this is my preferred location.

Best place for mammogram or other imaging. Park on the top floor right outside the door for free, great when you have a knee issue. Waiting room Is large, clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly, fast and efficient. Switched from the Howell Mill location and will never go back just as so easy in and out!

I was a walk-in customer today at Brookhaven for x-rays. Latanja Grace, the receptionist, saw I had an upcoming CAT scan scheduled and was able to reschedule it to have it done the same time as the x-rays saving a return trip. Both Corey and Katina are amazing. It’s so nice to be able to come to Brookhaven most importantly because all of the staff are so helpful and friendly truly an asset

This picture is 24 hrs old. I told the tec not to use my right arm. He insisted there would be no problem, this was his job. I again asked him to do the draw on my left arm. Stressed enough because he was complaining about another patient being 45 mins. late causing him to be set-back. This is the result, after not getting a blood draw he did my left arm and was quite rough there too. I won't use this tec ever again.

This appointment was a bit emotional for me for several reasons and I started to feel light headed during my imaging appointment so asked if I could have a glass of water. The tech was annoyed by this request and told me that if I was light headed that I needed to leave because she couldn't help me and didn't want to lose her license? I started to tear up a little and she said "why are you crying?", making me feel stupid. As I drank my water the front desk called her imaging suite and asked her about her timing since they were running behind. She proceeded to tell him in an annoyed voice ALL about my situation and that I was light headed, crying etc,. I interrupted and told her I was fine because I was embarrassed.

Overall, I got through the imaging, but felt like I was such an inconvenience to tech for being there. Most importantly though, I wish she could have offered me a bit more compassion and understanding that appointments like this are scary for some people and that you don't know what other people are dealing with. I realize I was late, but I don't think that warranted the attitude I received from the tech.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. They do not give you instructions on where their office is located which is on the second floor of Walgreens. They are understaffed and have horrible customer service skills. I have never had such a bad experience in my life.

Wish I could rate this place as 0 stars. They gave me an upfront bill of $1100 to get a CT scan of my pelvis. I said, alright, paid IN FULL right then and there. I thought they were being transparent about their billing.... Think again.... a month later they sent me a bill of $256 and forgot to mention that it's an additional charge for someone to read the scanned results. Are you kidding me? Why didn't you mention this when I paid you $1100. This place is a scam, go elsewhere.

Wish I would have gone somewhere else. Front desk staff was friendly but phone number has no answer. Got mamagram 2 weeks ago with no results. Rad tech was rude.

1 hour before my appointment, they sent me a message telling me I need to reschedule the appoitment without explaning why.
