Creekside Animal Hospital

Husband and I moved up here a year ago with our 2 kitties, Wrex and Edi. We established care here quickly as they have great reviews and are close by. I am glad we did. Both of our kitties happened to have completely separate health issues within the past couple of weeks of writing, and we were able to get them in virtually immediately to be seen. Dr. Dane is the best!!! We are so thankful he took great care of our kitties. The whole staff has been very kind and caring, and it truly helped us immensely!

You can't get better than this place. They call to check in on your babies the day after a procedure. They care. They explain things and walk you through how to care for your pets at home. You are treated like family here, and in several years of going to them for various issues, I have zero complaints. So thankful to have this vet near our home.

We were in a life or death situation with our big bunny and couldn’t believe Dr Julie Knudsen came in our her day off to do a procedure on our sick bunny. We are sure of his outcome yet but she went so far above and beyond what we expected. We know that know matter the outcome we did everything possible. I’m so thankful that he didn’t have to wait until Monday. We will definitely be taking all our buns there for their care. Thank you again.

Very knowledgeable and I didn’t bring a cat or dog. I had a tegu which I had some knowledge about taking care of but they took the time to explain everything very clearly and answered all of my questions and never felt rushed being there! Thanks guys!

Veterinarians who specialize in reptiles are incredibly hard to find unless you want to drive to Atlanta. Creekside just happened to be close. They are more than just convenient, however. Julie is an amazing vet and taught me more about my daughter's snake in 45 minutes than I could have possibly imagined. My daughters snake was on a hunger strike and I had absolutely no idea what to do and was watching my daughter panic thinking she was going to lose him. I was given an education, advice, and pointers to rectify the situation. Within 2 days this snake broke a 2 and 1/2 month hunger strike. Dr Julie is my hero because she gave me the knowledge and confidence to stand in for my daughter Knowing that everything was going to be okay... And seeing the relief on my daughter's face as she left for school this morning is worth every penny of an office visit. If you are a reptile owner looking for a doctor you'd be a fool to go anywhere else.

I was straight forward with finance concerns and they were 100% understanding. They were up front about costs (which is not outrageous at all!) They do not shame you, they care for the animal and you as the pet parent. Ladies from the desk, to the tech, to Dr. Ashley were all amazing and sweet. Thank you for giving me the options to save my baby girl. You have a patient for life, plus our other babies.

I have a reactive dog and going to the vet is so stressful for us. All of the staff at Creekside has gone above and beyond to make sure every time we come in it is an easy and stress free experience. They are truly caring professionals. So accommodating and kind. I couldn’t be happier in my choice of vet and I’ll be a customer for life! Best experience I’ve ever had in a vets office 10/10. I mean it when I say every single staff member was so kind and helpful!

I brought my cat, Gus, in today for the first time and had a wonderful experience! The staff were all extremely helpful, kind, and attentive to Gus’ needs from the front desk staff, to Ashton the technician, to Dr. Ashley herself. I will absolutely be bringing Gus back for his future veterinary needs, and I would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a new vet.

We take our 3 (less than polite) dogs here. The staff is great, the service is fantastic. They seem to love our dogs as much as we do.

Creekside is a wonderful veterinary practice. Our goldens are always loved on while they are there. The staff is always patient with one of our goldens, who is VERY enthusiastic when he comes for his visits. Dr. Dane is very caring and takes time to talk with me and answer all of my many questions. Our dogs love him! We have also seen Dr. Julie and Dr. Ashley who are wonderful as well. You can tell the staff really care about their patients. I highly recommend Creekside!

Dr. Pace was exceptionally friendly and explained everything about my furbaby to me, both inside and outside his body.
Unlike most vets I've had, he did not "automatically" throw a bandaid on the symptom (outside). Instead, he "genuinely" wanted to treat the cause (inside). He didn't try selling me a cream or a pill, but instead performed blood work. That blood work revealed something "other vets", in the past 5 years, did not find.
Oh, and the entire staff was very courteous, professional & friendly! I had a very satisfying "first visit" experience here.

Awesome vets and staff. Kind, compassionate and caring. They've provided care for three of my beloved companions. Their prices are more than reasonable for the care you get. They are top notch and I trust them 1000%.

Wonderful, kind, and compassionate staff. I have been with them for almost 10 years for my 2 dogs.
They let me know what is really necessary, what is suggested, and what is optional in terms of meds and treatments. I trust them.

My baby, Ariel, was very, very sick. She is my soul dog and I couldn’t stand seeing her in pain and so lethargic. She was diagnosed with masses on her spleen and her belly was slowly filling with blood. Her spleen was removed and within a few days, it was like nothing had happened at all. The doctors and staff at Creekside were wonderful with my girl and I can’t thank them enough. Dr. Dane even sent me a post-op photo. And her scar healed beautifully!

We have 4 kids/dogs that have been treated by Dr. Dane for the last year. They are all rescues and have had health and behavioral issues that have been a challenge for not only us but for Dr. Dane as well. He has been very calm, patient, informative, resourceful and professional. I would highly recommend him and his team. Hands down the best veterinarian experience I have had in the 2 decades of being a pet owner. Thank you to your team for all that you do.

Coal Mountain would not take me midday on a Saturday even though I expressed great concern about my best friend who had gone their his entire 10+ year life. They said they were booked - sorry, but that was that. I had been taking my cats there for over 15 years. Creekside worked me in even though they would be closing very soon. It turns out we had to put my baby down. They were extremely caring and I appreciate everything they did. The front desk ladies and the doctors were genuinely concerned and sympathetic to me and my cat. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs veterinarian services.

Creekside is one of the best vets I've been to in my 20+ years of owning cats. They are attentive, professional, and you can tell they really care about your pet. I've worked with several of the doctors there and they all take the time to answer questions and thoroughly address any concerns. When my cat was particularly ill, Doctor Julie called me after hours to discuss next steps and she comforted me when I was distraught. The entire staff is very caring and attentive. Highly recommended!!

After a month of making no progress with my dog, I brought her to Creekside. This is the place! The building is clean and professional. The employees are caring, kind, and knowledgeable. Dr. Knudsen is fantastic! If you are looking for a great practice to take care of your fur baby, you can't go wrong.

Our 4 legged child is usually under the care of Dr. Knudson, which is one of the veterinarian at this location, very courteous, comforting and knowledgeable of his profession. The staff are attentive to your child's needs and very courteous also.

My shitzu poodle mix had an injury to her hind leg while playing on Friday evening. I called Creekside Saturday morning not knowing what to expect trying to get her seen on a busy Saturday without having an appointment, especially since Creekside is not her regular vet.  The person who answered the phone was very courteous and helpful and told me they would fit me in but I may have to wait a little bit. Before I even finished my paperwork, I was called back to an exam room and greeted by a super friendly vet tech. They took her out of the exam room for her vitals and to be examined by the Dr which I found a bit odd, but maybe it's better for the "patient" and the parent that way. Regardless, not a huge deal.  Dr. Knudsen came in and patiently explained that my girl has a luxating patella, grade 3.  She discussed all the options for treatment and discussed surgery but not in an aggressive way. Dr. Knudsen did not order unnecessary x-rays or blood work which would have made my bill much more expensive. She prescribed medications and gave the initial dose. I never felt rushed (esp since I was a walk in), had all my questions answered and felt as if Dr. Knudsen truly cared about my
dog. I cannot praise Creekside Animal Hospital enough. From receptionist to vet tech to doctor, everyone was friendly, welcoming, caring and professional. Prices seemed reasonable as well. I highly recommend Creekside and thank them for their excellent care of my baby!
