If you want a simple selection at a great price, this is your place. We had the Sunday brunch. $12.95 a person, drink dessert included. Today's selection was grits, fried chicken, pork loin, black eye peas, creamed corn, smoked sausage, mac n cheese, watermelon, coleslaw. corn bread, yeast rolls. Peach cobbler, banana pudding, strawberry cake. All scratch cooking. Peaceful setting. Of you like the old school southern cooking this is your place. Let yourself in through the front door. Worth the stop.

I had to rewrite my experience as I type too fast when I'm so excited in wanting to share my experience and doing so, I misspell words. My experience there has been so great with southern hospitality and great southern food. Many cultures have there scenario. Taking a drive to cumming Georgia was worth it to experience the southern culture to excellence. A house from the 1800s and four dining rooms with a great patio. The fried chicken and veggies was beyond grandmas kitchen , with great deserts. The experience was great. I will be back for sure. 💝

The food was very delicious. The atmosphere is an old wooden home converted into a restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It does take a little longer to dine, but if you want a good meal, nice atmosphere, and a leisure time for enjoying your meal, this is a good place.

This is our favorite lunch place. We eat here 2-3 days a week. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my favorite, because that's when they have their delicious casseroles.

Locally family owned and operated, they will give you all the Southern Hospitality you can handle, and traditional family style favorites to keep your belly full!

Nice restaurant. The staff was great. The food was reminiscent of Mom's cooking. The fried chicken was as billed, excellent. Make sure you get the buttermilk pie!!

Always our favorite restaurant to visit when in Cumming. Never left disappointed - or with any space left in my stomach. Love the meatloaf, sweet potato chips, and banana pudding.

They have the best desserts and the best food!!!!!🍰🎂☕🍗 When I was there they only had 2 people working 1 in the kitchen and the other one cleaning. They tried there best. I give The Foster House 5 golden stars!!!😄

Food was very good and staff very helpful and pleasant. If I was taken to this place I would never have known it was there. Looks like a broken down house.

Delicious! The baked banana pudding with meringue was outstanding! The service was prompt and polite, and we enjoyed taking pictures in the backyard!

I worked at a company that used to get dinner from foster house for Christmas Eve day. I will say that the food was always good.
