Wright’s Fish & Chips

Went in there today and what an awesome place. I had heard about it from a friend so had to try it. Staff were really friendly and had a good time talking with them.
I have been in the States for 24 years and can honestly say this is the best fish and chips I have had over here. I have found some good places that I thought were really good until I came here and tasted how it should be. I will be going back tomorrow before I travel home, but I know that from now on, anytime I can get down here I will be eating in Wrights.
I have worked in almost every state in the nation and always looked for a good fish and chip place but this one is the best chippy hands down.

Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The cod is perfectly battered with a light crispness, chips are great and the homemade tarter sauce is what makes it so flavorful! I usually despise tarter sauce but this is excellent! There is a wall of snacks and drinks from the UK which is a delight!

We enjoyed our first meal here. The fish is delicious and authentic. The staff is friendly and the service was quick. I had the Cod bites and loved them, my husband had the Cod & Chips and was equally pleased. We will definitely visit again to try additional menu items!

Delicious fish and chips! The tartar sauce was the crowning touch! Bought some yummy chocolate bars from the little import shop. Thanks Wright's!!

Really the best fish and chips in town hands down..I grew up around British food and this is the real deal.

Stopped in for lunch today. Cod and chips for today. They both were good to me but I cannot judge how traditional. Several drinks, frozen food and candies with British theme available.

I go to England a lot, and am very happy to have found this place. We had the fish (bites) and chips, crispy, flaky and flavorful. Also not oversalted, so you can season yourself and enjoy the flavor of the fish. We even grabbed a few packs of crisps. Now, the only downside was not being able to have a Fosters, but they are working on their liquor license so fingers crossed. We'll be back.

Brilliant authentic English Fish and Chips! Great, friendly English owners and friendly staff. Occasional live music, lovely patio, and proper pints of beer coming soon as well!

Love the authentic style fish and chips. Fish was huge cooked perfectly. I was very disappointed that they no longer have pies or pasties. As an avid baker and fan of The Great British Bake Off, I was looking forward to trying some. I do feel they were overly ambitious to offer so many flavors of each. How about doing pasty and or pie as a featured flavor of the day or week. Since pasty are easily made ahead and can be frozen, it would lessen the burden to make x amount for the week. When sold out, they are gone.

My wife and I visited this restaurant tonight. The fish & chips were amazing! Having worked for British Telecom I have missed eating “authentic/proper” fish & chips. I even ordered the mushy peas. The homemade tartar sauce was brilliant! I highly recommend to everyone that wants to enjoy a great meal that’s very reasonably priced to visit this wonderful establishment! We will definitely be back!

HAd the fish and chips lunch special. It was delicious. My lunch guest said it tastes just like the pu s in London.

The best & most authentically British Fish & Chips I’ve ever had in the US. I always order the fish bites & chips. The batter is so light & tasty and the fish is always fresh & yummy! It’s always fresh fried after you order it, so it’s always steaming hot! Mind your tongue doesn’t get scalded. Also, I love their tartar sauce, too. It’s different from the one American restaurants serve and very good! Make sure you splash a little malt vinegar on your fish before you eat it. It adds just the right tartness to it. If you like seafood you’ll surely enjoy Wrights Chippy!

So wonderful to have a little piece of home to enjoy! Great selection of frozen items and goodies to take home, and all the things you would want to eat at a fish shop from pies & pasties, battered cod, curry sauce and mushy peas! We had the battered cod & chips with curry sauce and sausage roll & chips. They were all delicious and tasted just like home. The tartare sauce that came with the cod was outstanding, best I've ever had. Looking forward to going back and trying the other items!

Finally a decent fish and chip shop! I just grabbed a quick bite for lunch the other day and it was out quick, hot, and tasty.

They have a proper salt shaker and malt vinegar on the tables. The only thing missing were napkins (at the tables). Be sure to grab utensils and napkins at the counter if you're dining in.

Just stopped in. AWESOME fish and chips AND OUTSTANDING tartar sauce.

Fyi my fellow Americans - you have to add your own seasoning to the fish and chips....this is a European & British restaurant and they cook the food their way. Have a little respect and learn how to eat British style instead of complaining the food is tasteless!

First time in today (Saturday around 1pm) and though it was busy, we didn't wait long for a place to sit, or our order to be delivered to our table. Young group working, very pleasant and accommodating. All in all, great first experience and will visit again. The pic 1st food pic is the "Cod and Chips". Fish and chips are fantastic, also I've tried the battered sausage and the scotch eggs and those were too notch as well!

Took my mom here after searching for a fish n chips in Georgia for YEARS! It was amazing 5stars all across the board. The fish and chips were stellar, crispy, fresh, the French fries- AMAZING! The curry sauce and tar tar sauce to die for. The snacks in the shop reminded me so much of home. They did a great job, thanks for making us happy 🇬🇧❤🤞

Love this place. The owner has tried to replicate everything that make a British Fish and Chips

-Cod caught in same waters as the British fish houses buy.
- breading made from ingredients imported from England.

Also has a selection of savory pies and sausages. Also a selection of sausage made to her recipes. I had the British bangers. Wonderful.

If you love fish and chips. You have try this hidden gem.

Worth the stop.

The GF fish 'n' chips are such a treat! The employees were exceptionally helpful. Worth the drive ❤
