Ponce De Leon Music Center

This would be first time for me reviewing a music shop, if you follow me you know i am mostly reviewing food places. So if i am going out of my comfort zone to review a business it must have taken really extra effort from those guys to earn it :). I wanted to rent a Saxophone for my daughter as she chose that in Band for herself. We came to this shop first time with zero knowledge of music, instruments or anything for that matter. The guys there were so nice that they helped us in every way possible.

Suggestion for owner: You are doing awesome job. Keep it up.

Suggestion for Customers: if you are looking to rent or buy quality music products with great customer service, this is the place for you.

I cannot say enough about this place!
If you want customer service and personal attention, there is nothing else like it.
Big chain pricing with the attention you can only get from a smaller store.
The size should not fool you as they seem to have plenty of inventory for anything musical and certainly can get it if not.
I and my children are beginners, so have a ton of questions that would have most sales representatives rolling their eyes and counting the time but not a single one of my weekly trips has been that way here.
Very personable and helpful staff with extended personal teachers in a variety of categories.
I would not go anywhere else for my musical needs and I do a ton of research before I buy! So, trusting them to get what I will be happy with, is pretty defining.

This is by far the BEST music store in the county. I have been a customer for over 20 years. My children have flourished here and we have had lessons from Sammy, Chris, Eddie, Latrell, Janine and more throughout the years. The family that now owns the shop treats each customer as a friend and my children have always felt comfortable and confident in the space. They have everything you could think of and order quickly what we need. If you are looking for a shop with true musicians with deep knowledge. This is the place. PS the record store at the top is a must visit!

This music store is great, very knowledgeable staff very helpful and friendly helped me get the right violin for my daughter you can purchase or rent for school. Lots of niche items good quality interments it is just a fun place to explore and shop.

I had a fantastic experience. I’m new to the area and just left this place with my son’s new band rental instrument. They were very helpful, nice and knowledgeable. It felt like a very relaxed and chill environment. All of my questions and concerns were quickly answered. The person helping me knew a lot about the instrument that I needed and brought out multiple options for me to choose from before renting, along with giving me some non pushy advice. The instrument is also in excellent condition, especially for a rental. I would definitely recommend for those needing band instrumental rental help!

We been using Ponce De León Music Center for almos 8 years so many memories. People here never stop to amaze me, customer service always the best when ever you need a repair for your instrument or a private lesson this is the place

Great place, needed reeds for 2 different instruments and were in stock. Helpful staff and a nice variety of instruments

They were the Bomb! Seriously, and took me seriously. So helpful, so knowledgeable, caring, fun. Can not wait to take lessons! Got a beautiful cello and know nothing, they were so nice, set it up for me, gave me a name for lessoons if I wanted. 58 know nothing, and they were amazing. Their better than before, so supportive.

Came from out of town and they let me practice a little bit in their store and I thank them great guys 😄

I went to Ponce de Leon Music Center to purchase a microphone for my business. The three people that were working on memorial day were so helpful that I absolutely have no words for it. With there patience and assistance I ended up buying the microphone that best suited my needs. I didn't jump on my phone to compare pricing because I would pay more to purchase something from somewhere local (as I'm a Forsyth county resident) and prefer to support local businesses verses large corporations or Amazon. Ponce de Leon's customer service is out of this world!!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Five stars out of five for me!!!

I love this music store and will return!! I didn’t have time to see the huge selection of instruments and equipment, but this music store has so much to offer. They offer new and used items which was helpful to my budget and the staff was able to help me put together an affordable sound system to rehearse with. Really great personable yet large music store.

honestly, i like this place more than guitar center. they have literally everything i need and saying that the employees are very helpful is an understatement. every time i come to the store, the employees are always kind and available to help me out, or tell me about instruments. these people really know their stuff. they’re also cool people to just chat with in general. they are very patient, too. in addition, the atmosphere is overall quiet, and it’s clean. all the instruments are basically spotless and they function perfectly, amps and everything. ian and katie are the best. this is truly my favorite store! :D

Great variety of music instruments, very attractive store setting, super friendly and knowledgeable store attendants always ready to help no matter how loose you seam to be. The music classes are great, my kid takes guitar classes with Eddie and he's so happy (and he's learning a lot too)

This is our family music shop. They either have what you're looking for, or they provide any service you may need. Weather you need lessons, or a tune up on your electric guitar. It really is a music lovers one stop shop! Family business too!

Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff! We went here looking for an instrument for my daughter and got solid advice and good information. She was very patient answering our questions and helped us make the right selection. Prices were very reasonable from what I could tell, which was my concern. Will definitely be back!

Thank you to the staff. I brought my daughters Clarinet in for repair which I bought from an online retailer, and they were able to fix it on the spot. I will definitely look to do business with them on future purchases. I did not realize we had music stores that sold so much stuff in the county.

Absolutely fantastic customer service. Well worth the drive. Amazing variety of instruments. Rentals are reasonably priced and easy to secure. We are VERY happy!
