Hampton Inn & Suites Baton Rouge Downtown

My husband, my 2 teens and I have just stayed for 1 night in this hotel. It is will well located in downtown Baton Rouge near restaurants and bars. The staff was very helpful. We would like to thank Willemina in charge of Breakfast . She was amazing, and provided an outstanding service. She was very helpful, professional and kind. I will recommend 100% this hotel.

This location is great. Amazing customer service from the time we walked in the door till the time we got in our car to leave.. Extremely clean and the breakfast was really good. No matter what employee we walked pass, they spoke and asked if we needed anything. Thank you all so much! We appreciate you loving what you do and we didn’t feel like it was just a job. Everyone really took good care of us.

Was in town for the Louisiana marathon, I ran the 1/2, and I can't say enough about the amazing staff. Super helpful, extremely friendly, and professional. If I decide to run the race again I will most definitely stay here.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast served until 10am including hot options and great coffee. Convenient location and parking garage.

I unexpectedly spent my birthday weekend in Baton Rouge Christmas weekend. The ENTIRE STAFF WAS AMAZING! The view of the Mississippi River was the PERFECT icing on my birthday cake.

I am so grateful for the kindness of the beautiful Food and Beverage Attendants (and the laughs) and the incredible ladies at the Front Desk. I will definitely be returning to this beautiful property for another birthday turnup.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a hotel in the downtown area or near downtown. It is a relatively new hotel (8 years old, not sure if it was renovated or built, but it looks brand new). Staff was wonderful! The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. There are smaller businesses and restaurants in the area. They have a parking lot in front of the hotel for a fee but I am told it is usually always full, so there is another parking garage walking distance near the hotel and there is also a small fee to use it. The parking garage is well lit and easily accessible. The complimentary breakfast was free and absolutely delicious! I have told other family and friends about Hampton Downtown and to keep this hotel in mind for future hotel needs!

All the staff were more than accommodating and very friendly from the time we arrived to the time we left. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and modern. The beds were very comfortable. I loved all the touchless service options. (QR codes for front desk contact information, restaurant menu and things to do around Baton Rouge) The breakfast and coffee was fresh, hot and delicious. Ms. Willemena and her coworker at the breakfast station were extremely friendly and helpful. A1 service. Highly recommend!

Super friendly staff and the room was just what I wanted! The view from the balcony was perfect.

I apologize for not getting the lady’s name at the front desk when we checked in but she was nice! Very pleasant to work with. Now, the breakfast was great! Not typical “continental breakfast”, nope. Good variety, small western omelettes included. Willemena and Magic were super friendly and great “wait” staff. THANk YOU! Room was a standard hotel room and the bed was comfortable. Location was great within walking distance to a lot! Would definitely recommend!!

Clean and quiet, friendly customer service, and hassle-free parking made it an ideal stop for one night in downtown BR!

The customer service was incredible! Everyone was so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Even the housekeeping staff was incredible. One of the staff members offered to return my cart downstairs as busy as she was. Rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this location. The staff even complimented how great their manager is!

Visiting from North Carolina and was very pleased. The entire building was clean wherever we went. Room was very clean and updated generally. Breakfast hot food was okay. Bed was comfortable and clean shower. The most impressive thing was the service! The two ladies at the food court, Willmeana and Majic, were two of the nicest ladies and love on every guest that walks in. It was like walking into their home. They were attentive to everyone and kept the place spotless. Korey at the front desk was also very informative and very friendly. Next time we are in baton rouge we will stay here again for sure!

In the heart of downtown. The front desk lady, Ms. Rose was wonderful. I was panicked because I had a zoom meeting with only 15 minutes to spare for check in and getting hooked up to the wifi. She helped me out and I was able to host my meeting! Toilet needed a cleaning and the bathroom floor needed sweeping but the bed was clean as was the rest of the room. It did get hot around 4am, waking me up, but I couldn't tell what was wrong as the fan was running. All in all, I would stay here again especially because of Ms. Rose!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! My room had a breathtaking view of the water, which made for a truly unforgettable experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that my stay was comfortable.

Very pleasant experience. Everyone was very courteous. Although the room smelled like smoke it was very clean. They offered directions as well as opinions on good places to eat.

Korey was such a refreshing site late at night as we checked in. The Ladies at the morning Breakfast were so helpful and full of life on an early Monday morning. Next time we pass through BR we will be definitely coming back. Thank you

Absolutely amazing place. Super clean, friendly and welcoming. First night they didn't have any breakfast meat I liked. Next morning Willamena saw me and brought me to sausage that she made for me to make sure I didn't go hungry. Love little stuff like that. 10/10 Recommend heavily. Hospitality hasn't died here.

Korey was amazing !!! The entire staff has been amazing. I’ve been staying here off and on for a month now with work. On my most recent stay I booked at another hotel just to see something new and boy was that a mistake! I messaged the hotel and Korey messaged me within minutes and got me a reservation that night at almost 10 pm. I so appreciated it as he cared about what I had just experienced and wanted me to be happy and safe! I can’t say enough about his customer service and assistance in my time of need ! I won’t stay anywhere else when here on business. 20 stars in my book!

Thanks to the young girl Deena butler for keeping my towels coming my garbage dumped my room looked great sorry the mess we made in our room this is a great awesome place to stay staff friendly in very clean rooms plus they smell great my wife in I wil be returning when we come back to baton rouge to visit.
