Hampton Inn Baton Rouge-I-10 & College Drive

Had a last minute reservation here and was able to get a room with ease. Great location off 1-10 /i-12. Was worried about my truck since I don’t know the area but no problems with theft which was a relief. The room was beautiful, the bed was super comfortable, we had a great nights rest. The staff was very friendly
And breakfast was amazing!!! Especially the dark roast coffee! Oh and like another reviewer stated I was able to hear the traffic outdoors but a little noise don’t bother us. Anyways Thanks for having us.

20240331 Stayed 4 nights here, and didn't realized it is in the city. Getting in and out can be challenging... lots of traffic at the light during the week. I was concerned when I pulled up to the hotel on check in day. There was a young woman hanging outside and then joined by a man. They didn't give me the feeling that they were guests. At check in, the first thing I asked was if this hotel is safe. Wes knew what I was referring to. He's aware of the hotel's surroundings. He said yes and reassured me that it's safe and mentioned the constant police patrolling. He commented that if they don't leave soon, he will call the police. That night, I took my dogs out. As I was walking out, I told Wes that if I don't come back in 5 mins, call the cops and have them come look for me. He said he would come look for me. I feel better and safer after the first day. The hotel room is much smaller than standard Hampton Inn. Look for back roads if you can to avoid the traffic at the light. I would stay here again.

I would have given "5"-stars but the toilet seat pinched my rear when it slid off to the side!

I wasn't about to repair it as who knows how much pee & excrement would be under the screws that hold the seat to the bowl! Eeeewwww....

I recently visited this Hampton Inn while taking my son to visit LSU. The hotel itself is older, however they do a great job of keeping it clean. When I arrived I was greeted by the staff and quickly checked in. That was greatly appreciated after a 7.5 hour drive. The rooms were well stocked with the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel is very close to many restaurants and stores. I found the hotel to be very close to LSU so if you’re in town to visit LSU it’s a great location. The breakfast was equipped with many warm and cold food options. The breakfast staff was very kind and accommodating. I did use the gym during my stay. It’s a bit on the smaller side, but it’ll do to get in a quick workout before starting your day. Overall, I enjoyed my time at this hotel and would stay again.

I’m staying two nights at this Hampton Inn while my house is being worked on. Chose them due to the convenient location as well as their pet friendly policy. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised by my experience so far. Although the rooms are on the smaller side and some parts of the hotel are a bit dated, everything appears to be extremely clean and well-maintained. Had my best nights sleep in awhile (despite some road noise) thanks to the comfy bed, cold AC, and blackout shades. The pool area is very nice as well…lots of nice landscaping and comfy chairs. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if needed.

I’ve stayed here many times due to its proximity to family. Although the upstairs hallway decor is a little dated, the hotel is sparkling clean, and the staff is extremely professional and helpful. The guestrooms are comfortable and well appointed. The downstairs lobby area is spacious and perfect for setting up a laptop and getting to work. The hotel is next to a busy highway, so there is some noise at night, but that’s the only negative (and the blackout shades help). I’m sure I will stay here again!

This hotel lives up to the expectations we have of Hampton Inns. Anytime we need a hotel, Hampton Inn is the hotel we use. They've consistently been the cleanest hotels we've stayed at.

We arrived on December 21 close to 8pm. The two young people at the front desk were kind and welcoming and that was refreshing after our long drive.
The room was small but very clean and the beds were comfortable.
The breakfast was the usual breakfast for a Hampton Inn and everything was hot. The lady working the breakfast area welcomed us with a big smile and told us to let her know if we needed anything.
We stopped for the one night before completing our trip to Texas and we felt well rested and fed. Thank you!

Great place, room was clean and spacious, staff friendly and accomodating. Location is also very convenient, close to highway and plenty of restaurants. Would definitely book again if in the area.

I gave this hotel 5 stars because all the amenities that mattered were exceptional. Since this is an older hotel that was updated, the room and bathroom are smaller. The lightening could be upgraded. We were there for a dance competition and trying to get our girls ready at 6am was a big of a challenge with the current lighting.

However- the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is a 5 star rating. From the reservation desk to the cleaning staff- I can not say enough about the way these employees treated each and every guest!!

I would choose this hotel over any of the other hotels around the area.

This place was home away from home for 4 years every time I traveled to Baton Rouge to visit my Tiger son!! Thru COVID and all, you all made me feel at home and very well cared for. Every employee in this hotel deserves the best award!! I appreciated each and everyone of you! 💜💛

Very nice. Quick and friendly check in experience. Rooms very clean. Great location. If I was being picky, the only negative would be a slow elevator. Literally that’s the only thing. Not complaining about it, just saying that would be the only negative I could come up with.

We are checking out today. The staff were excellent in providing needs and the breakfast was well organized. They had good food choices and I was able to choose healthy items. Rooms were clean, good supply of towels, etc. This hotel will be my top choice when we return to Baton Rouge. Thank you Hampton Inn and the Hilton family.

It's by a major interstate highway and service road, so the traffic noise at times has woken me. Other than that, it is a great place for me when working several days in Baton Rouge.

From the ease of check-in to the final check-out the experience was welcoming and friendly through its entirety. All personnel worked well together and complimented one another! I'm ready for another stay!

Located on the I-10 access road, getting in is easy, out is a little difficult of you want to go south on college dr. Very clean property, front desk employees were very courteous and friendly. We got to our first room, and there was a screaming child next door for well over an hour, we contacted the front desk and they put us in a different room with no questions asked. They were very helpful. The breakfast downstairs was pretty decent, clean, and a good variety. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but still clean and useful. The rooms were very clean, and useful.
