Baugher's Restaurant

We stopped here as a family group of 6 adults and 5 kids ages 5 through 15 after a basketball tournament at McDaniel College on a Friday for lunch. Prices are very reasonable and service was fast enough. Our waitress was very friendly. This truly is an old school mom and pop American family restaurant with no frills. The majority of the patrons were older and families. Dettached to the restaurant is gift a gift shop. The menu is simple and offerings don't include sides. Items such as burgers, subs and sandwiches are served with dill spears or sweet pickle chips. You can add sides such as chips, cole slaw or fries for an additional cost. Our groups favorites were the kids meal hot dog and grilled cheese, the Turkey Rachel, cheeseburger and baskets of fries. They have a nice dessert menu. Fountain drinks are standard and they offer breakfast options til 1130am. Thank you Baughers restaurant, we will certainly return when we are in Westminster again!

Local, family owned, low-key with a nostalgic diner feel. I went during the week for breakfast as a spur of the moment decision after the day plan went wrong. I was seated right away in a nice booth by the window. Cindy was just perfect- attentive, helpful, and kind without being obtrusive. Great suggestion of the seasonal peach pancakes. The flavor of those fresh local peaches is almost sinful it's so good. And the prices also seem to be from the past- the quality and quantity I was served for the price felt like a real bargain! Very positive experience, thank you Baughers!

Amazing place kids loved it and food was awesome

The food was very average. But it was also exactly what I expected and hoped for from a diner sort of establishment. I got the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and dressing. The serving size was generous. The potatoes were so good too! It was very greasy, which I was okay with. The dinner rolls are pure gold. Incredible. The shop outside was the best part. It has all kinds of cute stuff and great selection.

Great place to dine with the family. Delicious food at a steal of a price. Not to mention friendly staff and honest service. They gave us a free meal because of delays, even though it was busy and I had ordered an extra meal to take home (that should tell you how good the prices are). We offered to pay since we were not inconvenienced, but they refused. So I'll write a review to make up for it. Also, any McDaniel students need to go here if they want a good meal on a budget. It is right down the rode!

We enjoyed our first trip to Baugher's restaurant and store in Westminster. We had lunch in the restaurant and enjoyed the food which is moderately priced. A roasted turkey dinner with two sides is $11.79 while a taco salad is $8.59. The service was friendly and efficient. After lunch, we shopped for fresh fruit and vegetables in the store and brought home a large homemade pie.

We love family breakfast at Baughers Resterant and Farmers Market in Westminster Maryland. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent and the home style setting makes this a great dining choice in the area!

A nice spot a couple miles from Baugher's Farm. Came in during the lunch/dinner crowd, was able to get a table. Sign coming in says to get there early for breakfast seating. Tried the Bacon Baugher Burger with fries, enjoyed my selection! Staff was really friendly and we took a menu to go. Will return again soon, thanks!

Great customer service, food was delicious! Great prices and portions!

We absolutely love the turkey dinner and even get it to go. It is real turkey, not the pressed stull you get elsewhere. And the stewed tomatoes. But the green beans are way to overcooked and watery and the salmon cake should come off the menu. Service is goid, but i think they are still struggling staffwise post coved. Its not as clean and bright as other diners, but it was locally owned by a family. We go there because of the produce and deserts which are made in their own bakery. They have more varieties of apple than any other place we know and that includes the pennsylvania farmers markets.

Chicken is fried to order taking an extra 20 minutes, but it is worth the wait. Extremely crunchy and stilly very moist. Ask for hot sauce. The hose made valdia onion hot sauce is great.

Ask about the daily specials as they use their own farm to table seasonal produce to add to the main menu.

The connected farmers marker stays open late with the restaurant so don't forget to puck up some great quality produce and wholesale dessert for home on your way out. Apple cider donuts were perfect for dipping into your morning coffee. Really large selection of apples, pumpkins & gourds in the fall.

All the staff were extremely friendly and happy to answer questions and talk.

Do expect quality and great prices, not speed.

Almost 75 years at this location!! Food is really good diner style with excellent service!! Outside there it s a local farmers market style produce and flowers stand. Highly recommend!!

Did the fresh fruit shopping and home mades, then onto the beautiful restaurant food!! The corn fritters side was Ah-mazing. I’m not one for fried foods but these are not the regular fried sides. Anyplace with farm to table are a big plus from the start. If you have never been you have to visit.

The food was first rate (Burger with an egg on top) and a nice quantity and quality. The service was outstanding - automatic about refilling my sweet tea. Highly recommend

I so loved Baugher's they have the best apples and fruit; but, their bakery is where it is at. Delicious pies, cookies and cakes. The restaurant is easily accessible. The restaurant and farm stand are clean and laid back. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This place was amazing ! Great American comfort food ! I got the turkey plate with mashed potatoes gravy and corn fritters ( they where extra good in my book) there was also stuffing too that was very good. I had a bite of my wife's pulled pork quesadilla, it was very good. Only down side was it was a little spicy in my opinion. The dessert was also good. I got a creamsicle cooler and the wife got a brownie Sunday both where great !

the mozzarella sticks at the restaurant were outstanding, we ended up ordering a second round. after our meal we popped over to the produce market where we found the biggest tomato ever.

I am back in my zone of humble beginnings. What a wonderful trip. Down to earth food served by unpretentious staff. Try the turkey barley soup. Marvelous! Try the mozzarella sticks where the cheese stretches from the Aegean Sea to the Black Sea through the Bosphorous. Watch out State of Georgia here we come to compete with your onion rings. Explosive fried chicken! This fried chicken puts Kentucky to shame. It is incredible. The mashed potatoes with turkey gravy is highly recommended. Beware, the side order of French fries is large enough to feed an elephant. The black raspberry ice cream knocked me out. It was unbelievable. Chef and kitchen staff thank you for making me feel at home. Dining room staff, you always welcome us especially Josie, who was so patient with us. Folks, my biggest weakness is food. I don’t eat breakfast and I have a late lunch. As soon as food is placed in front of me, I usually forget everything including taking pictures of the food. I just dig right in.
