I've been training at CZ Fitness with Apple for over a year, focusing mainly on strength training to prep for my triathlon races. Apple's personal training expertise and the variety in workouts played an important role in hitting my goal at IRONMAN 70.3 Washington. This local gym is well-equipped, and there are three adorable dogs around to make your workouts even more enjoyable.

CZ fitness is an awesome gym studio with a personalized training and nutrition program that Pete and Apple constantly adjust based on your goals, life events, dietary preferences etc. You also get to play with their gym dogs in-between sets!

Having worked with Pete and Apple at CZ Fitness since it opened, they have shown to be the best trainers with the best small group intensive setting I have used in 40 years of lifting.

CZ is home! Pete and Apple have changed our lives for the better. Meal plans, lifestyle coaching, bootcamp, competition prep, posing, and so much more (CZ Pack = bonus).

Working with a team that holds you accountable makes all the difference. You get out what you put in. YOU are responsible for putting in the work to accomplish your goals, but with CZ in your corner to guide you, nothing is impossible.

I hired Apple for a fitness competition I went into blindly and boy did she prepare me mentally, physically, and emotionally. Although I hired her for nutrition program, Apple offered so much more! Amazing experience. I went for posing instruction, in seek of help for my first competition. Pete was by far the best hands on instructor I've ever had, and helped me greatly. Very informative, patient and willing to work with my physique, rather than suggest the same cookie cutter poses. I left feeling motivated and excited for not only my competition but also my next visit. Highly recommend!

Can’t say enough good things about my experience with CZ Fitness and specifically with regard to the proprietor and head trainer, Pete Grubbs. Pete wasted no time in dialing in a personalized nutrition, supplementation, and training guide for me. I’ve been involved in the fitness industry for over 15 years and I’ve used a number of sources for development, including very expensive pros. Pete impressed me with not only his attention to detail but also with defendable programs which didn’t crack under questioning. Pete’s knowledge runs deep. He has decades of experience with peak athletes and himself was a top competitor. I would not hesitate to use him again and I personally highly recommend his services.

I posted on yelp a review in 2014 ! And what I have to say about this place is simply the same. I still use their nutrition services but since then I added personal training sessions and bootcamps.
It is not a gym where u go and feel the sales pressure most of the times they will give you advises even if they have nothing to gain.

Most of the time you will find it empty or with a few people.

It depends on the personal trainer that you pick but mine doesn't send me every day check-in texts/emails etc. So if you are in need of that you might be disappointed. I personally do not like to be micromanage so this works great for me!.
I believe this place is making me stronger mentally and physically and I never felt this healthy.

I love this private gym! I’m so grateful to be able to train here again!
