Skyview Gymnastics

I live much closer to a gymnastics facility in the Sykesville/eldersburg area but we drive to skyview because the facility is great and the teachers are so helpful. Mr. Rob is the best.

I loved this place and still do the teachers are amazing and I have learned so much with them.

Great environment, great staff and coaches.

Saturday lessons are busy, and can seem a bit disorganized. But, there is a method to the madness.

I can only speak to a very limited experience with this place, but I feel like I need to address it. There was a birthday party hosted here for a group of toddlers, and the woman who attended to the children and signed everyone in was just awful. She made rude and condescending comments about children who were simply showing enthusiasm for being at the gym. Throughout the party she looked like she had just swallowed vinegar. She was angry, short-tempered, and just nasty. The other employees were nice, but this lady obviously did not want to be there and had no patience for young children. I did not catch her name but she is the middle-aged woman with dark hair. As I said before, that is the only experience I can speak to about this gym and does not at all reflect their ability to teach gymnastics and dance.

Honestly I loved this gym but I have a lot to say. My daughter has been going for around 4 years. She has started on the same level and never learned much. Another thing is my son had a camp there recently and he has allergies. To peanuts. The coach or owners never told me about the fact that they were bringing in food for the kids. They didn't have the decadence to tell me the day before so I could warn my son. So my son counlt eat. Something else that happend , my daughter has told me. She said that they were doing "acro" and one of the drills for it was to put your feet on someones shoulders while laying on the floor. Its weird and uncomfortable with girls her age but when the owner (An older man) tells her to do it to him and instead of holding her leg he grabs her toes knowing thats not what the drill is. It was an uncomfortable situation for her and I understand. NO man EVER should touch a girl with out her permission OR touch her toes, chest ect. This was wrong of him.
