Papa Joe's Mexican Restaurant

One of the best Mexican offerings in Carroll County, and that reputation did not disappoint!

The homemade chorizo hit the spot, the white sauce fajitas were amazing, and the habanero hot sauce is the perfect amount of flavor and heat!

Total FAN of the Seven Seas seafood soup. Including taking home the leftovers, I get 2-3 meals from this pricey item, so the cost is comparable to fast food, but better Eats. I enjoy the fact guests can see the kitchen operations and the authentic management of production. I trust the cooks since it's all out in the open; skills, passion, operation, etc. Service and seating has always been average (not a bad thing). Calling ahead for a pick up hasn't been efficient, but I'm thinking that's because they don't want to box up a meal and have it sitting around getting cold, opting to fill the order on your arrival so you have a better eating experience. I'm not a Mexican food purist or nerd....I simply enjoy them and make it a point to return occasionally for a good meal.

I've enjoyed their meals from back when they were in the Antiques Mall. (Long ago) and have never been disappointed.

I had the beef and chorizo tacos and chicken enchiladas with a white sauce along with some margaritas. The restaurant is clean and inviting. If you're lucky enough you get there when they're making the tortillas on the machine. The food was good the drinks were great the atmosphere was a place you want to come back to.

First time at Papa Joe’s. Saram, our server was very welcoming, very attentive, gave great recommendations on food & cocktails. Chicken tortilla soup light but still hearty. Tacos you can change out toppings and tortilla shells. 3 tacos filling. Fajita salad amazing. No dressing needed. Portions large. All that left had a to-go box me included. Will be going back and highly recommend.

Have never once had a less than exceptional experience at Papa Joes! The staff is beyond friendly and helpful! Never a long wait for food, it’s always so tasty and cooked perfectly! The best family business around in my opinion.

It was our first time visit and it was great! Our waitress was very informative and our lunch was amazing!

My kids have deemed the quesadillas EXTRA CHEESY and my wife continues to get the fajita salad because it's so good she can't ignore it enough to try anything else. I have yet to find anything I don't like on this menu. Yummmm.

Sat outside this evening at Papa Joes with a group of about 10. The server was outstanding and very hospitable. The menu and food was great. The Texanas Fajitas were VERY good. The Owner replied to my review the very next morning. Highly recommended.

My family and I have been coming here for YEARS (since the restaurant has opened and I was a child) and it never disappoints us. The food is fantastic and always consistent. Service is wonderful too! Absolutely love this place! The fajitas in the ranchero sauce are so delicious if you love spicy! And the habanero salsa is great. Highly recommend

I always enjoy Mexican food. Their was one Waitress and she was amazing and on top of her game. It got really busy while we were there for lunch. It went from 2 tables to over 10 and she didn't miss a beat. The food was absolutely delicious and enjoyable. I did feel the wine was cheap as a chardonnay but the food was terrific. Nice lighting and very comfortable environment. Loved it!

We are from Arizona and this is the closest we’ve gotten to having Sonoran-style mexican food since moving to the East Coast. It’s so wonderful to have a little piece of the desert here in Maryland, and so close to our house! The food is fantastic, the service is always top notch. Our favorite restaurant in Westminster by far :)

This by far is the best most authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to!!!! And I’m from Texas right near El Paso and Laredo! The tamales in the husk omgggg I’ve never had them this delicious in an actual restaurant before! They are just as good as getting them at a local mom and pop place or at your abuelas house! I was so impressed seriously. The customer service was superb!!! My partner had tacos and the shells were authentic, fresh, and filled with meat! My go to spot from now on!

Just moved to the area and have already had Papa Joe’s twice. It’s THAT good! We always have great service, and their burritos are the size of your face! Do not hesitate to come to Papa Joe’s!

Amazing food. Love the spicy cheese curds appetizer, and the tacos, burritos, and enchiladas are all outstanding. Get the Pico de Gallo with your chips-so good. I always get a side of white sauce for my dishes that come topped with the green sauce- it's a great combo and they're happy to accommodate the request!

We were looking for something different and decided to try this restaurant out. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent and our server Amy was awesome. Will definitely be back.
