Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

My Wife went to this salon today 08/03/2023 at 1:30pm. The stylist, Carlos I think, started on her hair and it was not until almost 6:00pm that he was finished. Most of that time the chemicals were on her hair roots, several hours. She had asked to have her roots done and all over color, only the roots were done, and he claimed he did some kind of treatment on her hair. The result is her hair now has colors of blue, orange, and pink instead of the blonde tones she asked for. We were charged $110.00 for this, and my wife is very unhappy with these results. I feel that we should be refunded the full amount, and compensated for the cost we will incur at another salon to fix this mess. I would have contacted either the franchise owner, or the manager instead of posting here, but I can't find that information in listings for this location, and the number given in the follow up e-mail is a disconnected number.

Sorry for the delay on this update, I was writing it, and had a power outage, due to other things going on at the time I forgot to continue.
The owner of the local franchise, Sam contacted us and she scheduled a time to fix Gina's hair. She did this after closing time, and Gina was very happy with the color. Sam was very nice, and professional. I have changed the rating to 5 stars because of the way Sam handled this. Mistakes happen, it is how those mistakes are handled that separate good management from bad.

Went in as a walk in cut and miss Joyce hooked me up,I have been looking for a new stylist since mine retired and honey,she has my business now.love it 😍🥰

Well I can’t speak for all the bad reviews I’ve seen. Joyce did my hair today and it blew me away. Also I’m very completely shy and she had me talking like we were old friends. If you need hair stuff done ask for Joyce for sure!!

The manager here (Raguan) was absolutely amazing!!! Cut and conversation both were way above average!

I had my hair cut and i love it. And Emily was great and very good personality very approachable knows what she's doing and takes the time to do it well. it was very clean the other ladies was nice as well. Not a long wait the price was great. I will be seeing Emily again.

The staff is very friendly and professional. Shelby is great and was very patient with me. Anyone with any sort of curly hair knows how hard it can be to find a stylist that "gets it". I got a shampoo, cut, and blow dry, and for the first time in years I left the salon completely happy with the results.

I went today for the first time and Sam made a fantastic work with my hair!!!!, she understand what I needed. She works in a profesional way, taking time,being sure that the cut is perfect and she has a very soft touch, so 😌 relaxing, I couldn't be more satisfied.

I have been tbere twice for coloring. Knowledgeable staff! Samantha colored and cut my hair today and it looks fantastic! I needed some advice on color and she did wonderfully! Staff is friendly and courteous. This was my 2nd time there. Kina did my color last time and I was amazed as well.

The staff is friendly and professional. The salon is nice and comfortable. The prices are decent, but the quality of service is worth so much more than what you pay. I have a stylist of my own now that I will definitely keep going to see.

Went to the Fantastic Sams in Gastonia for the 1st time and it was a great experience. I had my hair and my daughter's hair cut and they did a great job! Exactly what we asked for. We will definitely be going back.

Tina is the absolute best. I love how she layers my hair and she's the best every time I come. Highly recommend this place. I've had 2 other hair dressers, but she's my absolute favorite. Love this place!!

Wonderful experience with Jamie! I look and feel fabulous! After leaving another salon because of a bad experience, I was nervous walking in. But Jamie made me feel comfortable right away!
