Christina did an amazing job! This was my first time getting a curly cut, she was so informative and made the whole experience feel relaxing. She really took the time to get to know me and my hair and my hair goals. I’m so happy I found her!

I have extremely thick curly hair and have had several bad haircuts in my life so when I moved to the area I knew finding a new stylist would be something I wanted to do research on. I checked out several salons- Christina at CM beauty studio came highly rated on Facebook and her google reviews. And she did amazing with my hair! I had let it grow out for almost a year and it was in desperate need of a revamp. We cut several inches off and added tons of layers and face framing pieces back into my hair. She continuously checked with me throughout the cut to make sure she was taking the length I wanted. She truly went above and beyond as my cut took longer than we anticipated since it was so grown out. She was committed to making it perfect even if that meant staying late. Love the products she uses as well (Olaplex, Deva curl, Morrocan oil). On top of that, their salon is adorable! Lots of plants and good music, very clean, and local artists on display to purchase. She is so sweet and easy to talk to. Made me feel very comfortable and i enjoyed my time with her very much. Will definitely be returning and if you have curly hair you must check her out!

Christina is my hairstylist and I have been going to her for two years now! I absolutely love her and the atmosphere. Christina is so knowledgeable and friendly. Ashely did awesome on my powder brows! Finished my touch up and I’m in love. She listened to anything I wanted to change and made it happen. She’s super sweet and has a comfortable aura about her as well. You’ll be taken care of and leave with the confidence of a model. 100% recommend her if you’re looking to get powder brows. Just got home from my first curly haircut with Christina. Finally someone who truly understands curly hair and listens to how I want my hair to look. She made me feel very welcomed, relaxed and comfortable and it's obvious she is a wonderful person. Moved to NC about a year ago and have not been able to find a salon, now that search is over!

Christina is a diamond in the rough! I've been going to her with both my girls for about a year and she always does phenomenal work. Between my curly hair teenager, my littlest girl and myself we always leave her salon feeling beautiful and special. Her talent is amazing and her personality is icing on the cake.

I found Miss Talitha Kay on a Facebook group when searching for someone who can do a spiral perm. Let me tell you, Miss Talitha Kay knows how to do an AMAZING spiral perm! I wanted that big 80s hair look and she gave it to me without missing a beat. She also explained to me step-by-step which products to use to keep my hair big and curly, which is exactly what I needed. I’m OBSESSED with my new hair and I have so much more confidence now. I also love the passion she has for her students and her community (she teaches cosmetology at CVCC). She is an amazing person and a truly talented hair stylist. I cannot recommend Miss Talitha Kay enough!

Christina was amazing. She asked a ton of questions to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted and talked to me the entire time. She didn't rush me out of the chair and was absolutely invested in making sure I was happy with the end result. She's also the first person I have found down in NC (I am from Chicago area originally) that isn't afraid to use tools other than scissors on my hair to provide additional texture and styling options, especially for my wavy hair. I don't want to look like everyone else! Definitely recommend her if you want someone to give you what YOU want and not what is either easiest for them or what THEY want to give you. 3 months ago I had my eyebrows done (powder brows) by Ashley. I can’t praise this artist enough, they look amazing! I get tons of compliments, they are PERFECTION! So worth the money, I wish I had done it sooner. I am a customer for life! Thank you, Ashley!!

Second time going to see Christina at CM Beauty Studio. She was recommended to me as the "curly girl" specialist and I have to drive over an hour to see her. She's worth it. Never rushes and gives me the spa treatment along with a phenomenal cut. Love her!

I wish I could give Christina more stars because she is wonderful. First she listened to what I was asking for and didn't just jump in and rush to do a quick cut for a fast buck. I wish I had the before pictures so you could get the whole effect hopefully she will post them. I have let myself go natural gray which is a beautiful color but I wanted it to pop and shine and it needed a better texture. When I got home I asked my husband to feel my hair and afterwards he couldn't stop touching it because it is so silky smooth thanks to Christina's wonderful treatment.

Christina was amazing!! I needed my color refreshed before prom, and she was able to see me quickly on a day that worked well with my schedule. She did a beautiful job and I am so pleased with the way my color turned out. Not only is Christina kind and fun, but I felt like she was genuinely listening to me and took her time to make sure I was happy with the results. She was so easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. (The house plants and art work in the salon also make me so happy haha)
