It was heartbreaking, but they were outstanding. I hated I had to have my fur baby of 13 years put to sleep. But he's at home, with where he loved his mommy. He is so missed. Hardest thing I have ever had to do. He was My love baby. I miss him so much

Go ahead and transfer your pets here. They will be MORE than well taken care of. My fiancé and I have 2 cats and one kitten. Our kitten ate one of my medications and it was lethal to her and she needed help immediately. This was the day before thanksgiving and I went to three other animal hospitals that all turned me away due to short staffing and being overbooked. This really frustrated me because that were emergency vets.
I finally pulled in to the Alamance Vet Hospital and I was greeted with such the sweetest staff. Not only did they take care of my very sick kitten, they also did everything to help me through this. I was very emotional.
They had to keep her and they would text me pictures and updates! Dr. Smalls saved her and I couldn't be more thankful. Just the entire situation was taken care of so professionally and wonderfully, I am transferring all our fur babies here.

The doctors are wonderful, the staff couldn't be more friendly and the level of care is outstanding!!!!

The vet has been taking excellent care of all my fur babies for over 12 years and I've never had a problem. Dr. Small is patient and loving even with my less than friendly dog Tigger. I would never consider any other professional to care for my babies!!

We love Alamance Vet for all 4 pets (2 dogs and 2 cats). We've been with them through routine visits, shots and a mysterious infection. Could not recommend a better vet for your animals!

I’ve been a client at Alamance Vet for over 10 years now and Dr Small and Dr Burbridge and their team are hands down, amazing. Even with challenges with COVID, they have done they very best to accommodate clients. The care and compassion this team has in invaluable and I truly believe they have our pet’s best interests at heart. Thank you for being amazing!

We have 7 pets, all of whom receive care through this practice and have for the last 2 years. We found Alamance by happy accident, our dog had torn a hole through her leg with a stick or something and our previous vet was unavailable to see her. We brought her here and fell in love with the doctors, the vet techs, receptionists. Everyone was so caring and kind. When our cat was suffering they helped us prepare her to cross over, and were so sweet and thoughtful to us during that time. We've continued to bring our existing and new pets to this practice and I never once thought about leaving a review. Then, out of nowhere, we see what was posted a month ago, and I'm in honest shock. To have a whole family try to devalue this practice that cares so much for all animals, that secured and moved everyone to safety when there was threat of a FIRE next door, who has always gone above and beyond when they know people are struggling to make the HARDEST decisions for their pets. You all deserve more than a 5 star review from me. We love you guys there and thank you for all of your hard work, especially during the unprecedented times of COVID. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

I had to have my cat frannie put to sleep. I was crying uncontrollably. But the staff was so nice and caring. The urn ,the sympathy card and the rainbow Bridge poem plus a packet of flower seeds I can plant in the spring in rememberence of her was beautiful and thoughtful. It help tremendously my healing process.

Love the doctors. They are good with my dog...from the very first visit until even now. It's a place I feel good about and safe bringing my dog. I boarded her there recently for the first time and she did great. I never worried once. Jackie, the receptionist, is very personable too!

I’ve been taking my cats to this clinic for the last three years and I have nothing bad to say about it. I love Dr. Small & her staff. They’re so amazing, and treat my pets with so much professionalism, love and compassion. I’ve never been before in a veterinary clinic extremely good. My pets love Dr. Small very much. She also saved one of my cat’s live. I could not be more grateful with their service. They really know what to do and how to treat animals and its owner well, making us feel like a family. They are an amazing clinic with wonderful vets. They see my cats and my dog plus all of my exotics. I've never had a bad experience here.

Alamance Veterinary Hospital has been part of my life and the lives of my family’s pets since I was a child during the 1960’s. Naturally, there has been a total turnover in Veterinary Staff over the years, but the quality of service remains excellent. Presently, Dr. Small helps care for my cat, Thor. Thor was originally my mother’s cat before she died in 2016. Dr. Small has helped me transition into caring for Thor through my mother’s illness and death. She has been respectful and caring throughout this process. Dr. Small has also assisted in helping Thor live a long and happy life in spite of these dramatic changes and some health issues he has experienced. Thank you so much Alamance Veterinary Hospital!!

Earlier today i dropped my pet off at the hospital for his monthly checkup. I had left my vehicle running cause it was just a quick drop off. My car got locked in the process while it was still on and i had to call someone to come unlock it for me. Not to mention I had left my wallet at home since i was going back and coming back to get him. The staff here at the hospital were super helpful during my current situation. And the sweet receptionist Anna came out and paid my bill for the guy who unlocked my car. I am super appreciative for them and how awesome and sweet they are with my sweet kitty. Thank you so much for everything you guys have done for him and for the best customer service!!!!!!!

I was a walk in emergency they took my Callie in and made her all better and they were very nice

Recently adopted a new puppy and they were so patient to answer any and all questions of a first time pet owner! My dog Beau ADORED the staff and didn’t want to leave. So happy to have found such a wonderful place for my puppy to be seen! Highly recommend!

I have nothing but good things to say about AVH. They took good care of "Joshua" for 16 years. Yesterday we had to let her go..such a sad day. But the staff showed much love and compassion for Joshua and and my family. I have much love for them and highly recommend all the staff. Much love♥

I really like the personal at Alamance Veterinary. They are very easy to work with and are very good handling all the pets. They always seem to be up ear and cordial with patron's and handle all their patients with compassion and care.

We drive all the way from Cary to take our dogs to Alamance Vet! They have taken such good care of us and when our puppy had surgery and continuously found ways to rip her stitches on her feet, they accommodated us and found new, creative ways to help her heal. We love Dr. Small and all of the staff at Alamance Veterinary Hospital!
