Very impressed and satisfied with my purchase. I was very apprehensive as this was my first dealership purchased car and I have nothing but good things to say about Matt Hagen automotive. They were very patient and helpful and through throughout the whole entire car buying process. They were very friendly and treated me as if I'm family. Offered drinks and snacks, and even got to meet their cats. Very responsive and quick to messages, always arrived on time. They allowed me to look at the car for as long as I liked. They had a very nice inventory of vehicles and a very welcoming and home like office. Very nice couple, very honest people. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for fair pricing, and to actually enjoy the car buying experience. Seriously look no further, this is the best place around.

Matt was a great help. I was debating on getting a van. Called him to discuss one that he had on the lot. Worked on price to get it right where I needed it to be. Ended up not getting because of other financial requirements with my house. With that said, will definitely be reaching out to him when I need another vehicle.

I purchased a gorgeous car from Matt Hagen and from the time I walked in to the time I left, he and his wife were nothing short of amazing! Very professional and they answered every single one of my questions. Being a first time buyer was nerve-racking but he assured me I was in good hands and I rolled out with a sweet ride and at a GREAT price! We have purchased several cars from Matt, the first more than nine years ago when he was selling for another dealer. Since then we have bought two more from Matt Hagen Motors and have been thrilled. There’s always a chance with a used car that there will be a problem, but Matt has always been upfront about that, generous in his warranty, and determined to make things right if he can. For our last car, we drove 3 1/2 hours to get to Matt Hagen Motors for the vehicle we wanted. And I would do it again. Shortly we will be in the market for another car, and I know that I can trust Matt Hagen for a reliable used car.

Matt and Jennifer Hagen are the best kind of people from who anyone could hope to purchase a vehicle. Being from another state, I flew into New Bern. Jennifer was there at the airport to pick me up. Armed with a warm, welcoming demeanor and great knowledge of the local history of their corner of the world, our ride to their dealership was most pleasant. Matt was above board with the condition of the vehicle and offered a more than satisfactory warranty to ease any hesitation I may have had in purchasing the vehicle. They even recommended a nice restaurant down by the waterfront, at which, I ate lunch before the long drive home in my new (to me) truck. The people of Newport and Morehead City should be most proud to call Matt and Jennifer Hagen their neighbors. They truly are one of the best mom-and-pop shops.

Matt, I just wanted to tell you how much I’m enjoying the ’06 Tahoe we purchased from you a few weeks ago. I did what you suggested and purchased floor liners, including cargo bed liner, from Husky.
