DoubleTree by Hilton Atlantic Beach Oceanfront

We had a great time. They upgraded us to ocean front as a Hilton Diamond member for no charge room 901. We didn’t have any issues as noted in some of the reviews I read. The food is good but not amazing, we had $30 dollars a day credit with our booking so it covered our breakfast each day. The view from the room was amazing with sunrise and sunset views in December.

The staff earned this 5 star review. I had an incredible time. This location is awesome and the property has been updated in areas which were appreciated. Dog friendly too. Safe, quiet, well-kept with super staff that make sure your stay is good. The rooms are dated; carpeting doesn't help, and the AC units are dusty.

Great hotel on Atlantic Beach. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The pier out back makes for a great space to enjoy the ocean. Off season was pretty quiet but could imagine it gets quite busy in the summer.

The best hotel staff I've come in contact with in quite a while. From the desk, housekeeping, and maintenance. Rooms are nice. What you would expect. Comfort, I would give it 3 stars, I can't sleep good on firm mattresses. The television, in two different rooms, kept losing signal. And it has coaxial cable. The restaurant has superb chicken wings. The fries are like mom used to make, from real potatoes. Looking forward to coming back during peak season. Thanks Doubletree staff.

Lovely visit. The room was clean, the pool and hot tub were pristine, the staff was helpful and the location is great. What a view!

We did have to run the Jacuzzi twice to clean the jets but that was probably because it hadn't been run in a couple of stays.

Hotel is pet friendly and non-smoking(balcony as well), although some guests didn't abide by that rule. Notified the hotel that someone was
definitely smoking on the 6th floor, and they immediately sent someone to investigate.

Location is top notch.

The previous negative reviews are not accurate. The hotel is on the beach. The staff are amazingly attentive and friendly. The staff were engaging, said hello, asked how our stay was, or asked if they could do anything for us at every encounter. The rooms are what you would find at any beach location with lots of families and constant abuse, but still great and clean nonetheless. When the wind kicks up at night, you will hear it. You will still hear the ocean. The room AC does make noise but they also put out twice the amount of air due to the balcony. This is the south at the beach and the hotel combats humidity and heat daily. The oceanfront balconies have a picturesque and beautiful view. If you keep the balcony sliding glass door open and you leave food laying out, you will get insects in your room. That's man vs nature. Just the same, if you walk on the beach, you will get sand on your feet. The hotel has its own pier out into the water; what a great place to watch sunsets! There are both indoor and outdoor pools. The breakfast was delicious and with Diamond HHonors status, you get a daily credit. Don't expect to get the same benefits as their frequent guests if you just signed up and you have only stayed with Hilton a couple times. Membership has its privileges. This is a long one but I couldn't help but defend the hotel and staff after reading many negative reviews. It almost prevented me from staying here and I am so glad I did not stay away. I found this hotel last minute for a quick getaway and only stayed one night. The staff was FANTASTIC! Very friendly keeping smiles on their faces despite A LOT going on. It’s July on the Crystal Coast and EVERYONE wants to be at the beach.

Once settled, I ordered room service to enjoy my beautiful oceanfront view! The food was delicious I had the Buffalo Shrimp and Mahi tacos. It was quick from order to in my room.
Into the night I realized the AC was BROKEN! I did not cope with this well. I believe the over night guy is Gunnar, boy did this man lead with kindness!!
First thing when the morning staff arrived I was greeted by maintenance fixing my AC!! While I was at breakfast they fixed the problem and where able to get the room cooled down. The manager took the time to personally call me and apologize for the situation.
For a FULLY booked hotel in the middle of summer I am very impressed with how they made it right!! My stay could have been an absolute disaster with a furious review. Due to good management and hard working staff my stay was the relaxing getaway I needed.

Very elegant ☺ nice , welcoming and elegant. The food ,rooms and Services was outstanding. The hospitality was marvelous.

No complaints! Well worth it. The cost is adequate for the accommodations, on-side restaurant [for room service], and DoubleTree's personal (if this makes sense) public beach access. I didn't get to check out some of the amenities like the pool, but what I did see of it looked nice.

It'll be where I stay when I visit the area.

Staff were really friendly & helpful. Room & bathroom were clean & the location was amazing! Room could use a little update maybe hardwood floors as the carpet was a little old. Ac was a little loud & took a little while to get cold. Just the great customer service by the staff will bring me back for sure.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The food at Molly's was great! I had the chicken and the burger, the meat is so juicy and tender. Very well lit at night. The room was very spacious and I had no problems with anything at all. We actually stayed an extra night! Pet friendly and not too expensive to bring my dog along with us. Everyone was sweet to her as well

Only stayed for a night but the sound of the ocean was amazing!!! They don't have free breakfast other than that awesome place to stay!!!

Great hotel during our stay. Only thing was the military ball was going on Saturday night but Sunday night was great.

Location was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Patio was small, but we just opened the sliding door when it wasn't too hot, so we could hear the ocean. Wouldn't recommend room service for breakfast but other than that had a wonderful stay

This was an excellent place to stay when we decided to extend a family trip a few days to enjoy the beach on our own. They allow animals and the room was more than we hoped for. Service was outstanding and the hotel was also close to several wonderful restaurants!!

This hotel was great. SUPER pet friendly. Everything was really nice and well kept. The food was great and the location was beautiful. Picture is Ocean View (not ocean front) room.

Had a great time there. Love the outdoor atmosphere, if only it was warm out…lol. The boardwalk connected is awesome to watch the sunset on, room was awesome with a great view of the ocean! Friendly staff! Overall a great unexpected get away with my husband!
