Mrs Pumpkin's Bakery-Deli

Had been buying Moravion Love Feast Buns from another bakery in town for years, but for the last few years they tasted like they had been frozen after baking and thawed out the day they were placed out on display for sale. A friend recommended Mrs Pumpkins bakery to us. Went to the store and bought a dozen of their buns, it was unreal how much the difference was in the taste and freshness over the other bakery. Wish I had bought a couple more dozen of them but if I had I would not have an excuse to go back for more and try some of their family size frozen entrees. If you want fresh baked Love Feast Buns this is the only place I have found to get them.

Have just bought my second Chicken Pot Pie from Lowe’s Foods in Hickory, NC. Love it, love the history of your story packaging and website. Have really tried to purchase NC items for Christmas presents. Kudos to you and Kudos to Lowe’s( sent my 30 yr.old a “Cheer pkg” of NC from Lowe’s Foods💕

Mrs. Pumpkins did our son and daughter-in-law's wedding cake and cupcakes. They turned out so perfect! The fall theme decor with leaves were just perfect and they were delicious as well! Thank you so much!!

If you're into cakes this is the spot. This was my first time eating their cakes. I got 4 different cake squares and a slice of strawberry wt strawberry cream cheese icing. They were all moist fresh and flavorful. Worth the few dollars $8 for it all. My son and I love the cakes we will be back.

Wonderful establishment. Must try their cake squares. The take and bake selection is tremendous. For additional fee they will prepare for you.

Awesome place! We get many of our birthday cakes from here and they all taste amazing! They are the place to go if you need a cake with a specific character or design on it for a birthday or event.

I wouldn’t do much for a Klondike bar, but I’d do almost anything for a Chocolate Chess Pie from here! Decadent with a wonderful flaky crust, I will most definitely be back. Prices are fantastic for the amount and quality.

We love Mrs. Pumpkin's chicken pies! This quaint store is easy to miss along busy Reynolda Rd. See the pics but it basically sits in a tiny strip mall directly beside and slightly behind the Sherwin Williams store. They have great desserts too but I didn't purchase any today.

The most beautiful and delicious cake for my little girl. I’ll never go back to Walmart for cakes. I appreciate you all so much.

I’m not one to write reviews. But I just HAD to write a review for these chicken pies!! Our community church does a fund raiser with these pies. The pastor is going through cancer just as I am. I reached out to him after my daughter bought me a few to try. Due to chemotherapy I could not eat anything. Nothing tasted good. And I was so sick, I wanted nothing. But I tried one of the pies & MAN was it great! And it hit the spot. After talking with Pastor Pruitt he reached out to members of the church & they donated some of their own pies. I just ate the last one & I’ve got to get more. They are delicious!! You won’t find a better chicken out that’s so easy to heat & eat.

We selected Mrs.Pumpkins to cater our daughter’s wedding at the Barn at Reynolda Village. Cody was incredibly professional, flexible, and very responsive. They worked with us on a taste testing and helped us to create a reception dinner menu that everyone thoroughly enjoyed! They created the cake too which was quite convenient. We had plenty of delicious food (salmon was phenomenal) for our guests and the servers were so kind. Highly recommend Cody and their team!

I went to Mrs Pumpkin and purchased a couple of cake squares today the strawberry lemonade which was to die for ( because you can actually taste the lemonade in the icing and the strawberry in the cake) and banana pudding. This little Bakery is overlooked too much you get more for your money and the price is really good. I would recommend anyone go check them out.

I stopped by today to pick up my all-time favorite chicken salad from Mrs Pumpkins (it is the BEST!). I also grabbed a couple meals for my parents, and a yummy chicken pot pie for later. When I walked out, my car's battery died on me. I asked to keep my food in their freezer until my husband arrived and they agreed. But then, 2 of the employees came out and jump started my car so I could leave and get a new battery. They went above and beyond their usual great customer service. Thank you for helping me. And thank you for your awesome food. I will sing your praises!

We had Mrs. Pumpkins do the cake and cupcakes for our son and his fiance's (now our new daughter-in-law) wedding. The cake was beautiful and delicious. The cupcakes were top notch. Their customer service is also excellent. We highly recommend them!

Absolutely amazing just grabbed a few items from her got home to try them and i will 100% be coming back especially for the apple walmnit bread and cheddar cheese bread

Ordered a birthday cake for Christmas Day. I was afraid they'd couldn't accommodate us being a busy holiday. They were pleasant when taking my order and even helped me decide on the cake decoration. I ordered a strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting and it was fantastic. Very moist and flavorful. I was afraid the icing would be dry or have that latex-y taste to it but it wasn't. It was so good. We ended up buying other items to give as gifts. Will definitely keep going here.

An affordable and scrumptious bakery with a homemade food experience and lovely service. We especially like to do the pre-made family meal for four where you put it in the oven at home at your convivence. A must have Winston-Salem experience!

Purchased Moravian chicken pies via team fundraiser from Mrs. Pumpkin's without realizing that they are local! When we finished off the last pie, we lamented about having to find another fundraiser. What a treat to learn that this premier bakery-deli is within a 30 min drive! Honestly, kinda glad it isn't closer -we would never be able to resist! Highly recommend!

I bought the cream cheese brownies and some chicken pot pies for a fundraiser. I expected them to be mediocre a best. Boy was I WRONG!! Best pot pies I have ever had! I make home made pie crust so I know... these were DELICIOUS! Really do taste home made! SO IMPRESSES! I am going to get some more to keep on had for quick heart meals. The brownies were yummy too!
