Asheville Vee-Dub / Chris and his Team are great mechanics and Chris is a great human being. I have a Rialta. Chris is a rare gem, unbelievably fair, and talented.

Asheville VeeDub was fantastic! I'd recommend them to anyone. Chris was extremally helpful on the phone when I needed a tow. And they were able to get my car up and running in less then 48 hours. I'd give them a 6 out of 5 stars if I could.

Even though it's one of the only places near Asheville to get a VW serviced, Chris's work is super high quality and he's helped me to get my Eurovan running on several occasions. He's never overcharged for his work, and a time or two I've felt like I got a much better deal than I'd expect. Nothing but highest praise for this place, I'm driving a nearly 30-year-old vehicle and it feels like new.

I had always serviced my car at the local Volkswagon dealership. On my last service visit I felt that I was being overcharged and was not treated properly. I did some research and found Asheville VeeDub, made an appointment with Chris, who could not have been nicer. They serviced my VW Beetle and got me all caught up on the regular maintenance. My husband and I were in Asheville on vacation when we had a major issue with my VW bug. We were supposed to drive almost 900 miles back home on a Sunday, only two days from when we took it in. I called them first thing Friday morning to see if there was any chance they could take a look at it, and not only were they able to check it out and fix it same day, but they were great at keeping me updated with what was going on throughout the day and did it for a reasonable price! Can't say enough good things... If you're anywhere remotely close to this area and having trouble with your Volkswagen, I HIGHLY recommend taking it here!!

I spoke with Chris as well as his business associate via phone several times. I was stranded at lake lure and had my car towed to them. They were honest, kind and inspected my vehicle promptly when it arrived off the tow truck. They gave me a realistic assessment and diagnostics of the vehicle. Unfortunately they were unable to complete the repairs due to the rarity of my vehicle. If I lived in the area I would go to them for all of my servicing needs and would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends or colleagues. Their highly ethical standards of operation are beyond reproach and their kindness and honesty are rarely seen to such a degree in the automotive repair industry.

Best auto service in town! VW services and I also bring all my autos to him. The toughest problems that come up on my vehicles, they will figure it out no problem. Priced fair and their skill is unbeatable. The lot is awesome to visit too! Tons of VW buses with so much cool history! Highly recommend this will end up being your mechanic for life!

I've had Chris do service on my Eurovan and he's always been extremely honest.

With my older VW, there are so many small things that can cause an issue. Chris won't take advantage of you. If the fix is just a loose nut, he won't overcharge you for something else.

He was also very helpful for us while we were on our cross country trip. When we ran into issues, I could call him and get good, honest feedback about what the other mechanics were telling us.

Passing through Asheville on a road trip in our ‘73 Superbug & Chris dropped everything to sort us out with a replacement oil pump. Great shop, kept our vacation alive and nice guy. Many thanks indeed VeeDub

Veedub is by far the most legit vw mechanic shop that we've found in the eastern and central United States. Good luck finding another mechanic as knowledgable, nice and honest as Chris. As any other long term vw traveler can tell you, this is a 'labor of love' and a good mechanic is a jewel to find. Highly recommended shop.
