We celebrated our wedding at Mountain Springs and couldn’t have been more happy! We were looking for a venue which was more relaxed and able to accommodate the majority of our guests. Kris and her team were patient and accommodating of all of our needs, from the smallest detail to sorting out housing arrangements. We couldn’t have asked for a better support team. If you are thinking of celebrating your wedding and want the perfect mountain backdrop for it, Mountain Springs is a great choice!

It was an amazing place to stay. The staff was first class. We had been traveling in our campervan for 8 days and this place was what we needed to unwine. Our kids loved it. Every thing was more than we expected. The site...perfect..open grounds ...winding stream...roosters.....campfires...fireflies....star gazing at night...we are coming back for the changing of the leafs sometime in October..can't wait !

Awesome space, lovely people and cozy rustic cabins and Yurts. Great vistas of the Cold Mt. ridge from the comfort of your back porch.

Place was cozy, well kept and clean. Bathroom was a short walk across from the yurt and was clean as well. Met the owner at check in after hours. She was very pleasant then and at checkout on the morning. Would recommend and visit again! Great first experience in a yurt!

Recently spent a few days in one of the cabins with my children. It was a wonderful experience. The layout of the property is beautiful and there was plenty for the kids to do.

Our cabin was small, but clean. There are games, movies, books and an assortment of balls in the office area.

My favorite part was lying in the hammock next to the river. It was so relaxing. Overall excellent experience!

**Update: 8/18/22 - We spent another marvelous week at Mountain Springs. Chris was amazing to work with. She got us the room we requested on a last minute request.

Then, after our stay, Chris contacted me about a stuffed animal she thought my 8 year old daughter had left there. I told her 2 separate times that it wasn't my daughter's. But...I then found out that not only was it my daughter's, but it was her favorite stuffed animal that she sleeps with.

I scrambled trying to see if Chris could find it. Not only did she find it, she washed it and mailed it back. You're my hero for making my daughter so happy.

Thanks Chris. You're the best!

It was a quaint and relaxing stay. Affordable, clean, quiet and peaceful with cozy and private fire pits. Other fire pits set up so you and your neighbors can sit and get to know each other. The stream is picture perfect with hammocks along the side to kick back. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play with a playground, basketball goal and several balls of different kinds.(soccer, football, basketball etc.) If you come hoping for a nice stay. You'll leave grateful for the decision you made.

Clean!, so many small little touches, the decor, staying in a yurt was fun, white outside stringed lights, campfire pit, private bathroom, flashlight on keychain, lots of things to do lists, creek, privacy, beautiful layout, super nice GM, Kris. Only thing that would have put it over the top would be a coffee maker in the yurt 😀

We stayed in one of their yurts for a few nights and absolutely loved it. They are gorgeous inside and air conditioned. There is a small dorm style fridge with a freezer section. While there is no bathroom in the yurt itself, you have a private, locked, bathroom nearby which you can leave all your toiletries in. The yurts are located near a beautiful stream on the property and each has a charcoal camp grill and picnic bench right outside. We would definitely stay here again!

A lovely peaceful place to stay. We stayed in the potted shed (cabin #2) and I would recommend this cabin to anyone who likes to sit on their front porch and read. The outside area by the stream is a nice place to swing on their hammock or hang out at night under their strung up lights. Quiet area, close to Asheville, running routes easily accessible, and family friendly.

Awesome experience! We booked a Yurt (WIFI, air conditioning, fridge and microwave present) and stayed overnight with a bunch of friends. Beautiful location, very rustic and outdoorsy. They had board games you could play with friends. The bathroom was an outhouse with a fairly modern stand in shower and toilet. Everything was very well kept and clean. There's a barbecue pit and grill, and you can even buy firewood from them for cheap. There was also a beautiful stream flowing nearby - all in all, a nice break from city life. We were super happy with it! The price was super reasonable too! Definitely coming back here next time we go to Asheville. A 10/10 for sure!

This was such a wonderful place. So peaceful and relaxing. All the staff was very friendly and not the "paid to be friendly" that you get some places. We stayed in the new Yurts and what a wonderful experience. They also have wonderful looking cabins that we will be back to checkout. A beautiful stream with hammocks, fire pits, grills, and landscape lighting. Need I say more...

What a beautiful and relaxing getaway for our family. We came with our little dog and daughter who was home for spring break from college. It was a perfect way to unwind from work. The views from the porch and the sitting area by the creek were amazing. And Chris is the office was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

We stayed at the Evening Shade Yurt for a few days one or honeymoon read trip and had an absolutely wonderful time. The yurts are all pretty close to each other so I can see it being a great group / family trip. It was or first time in Asheville and we never wanted to leave our little home! Will definitely be back!

The pictures on their website do not fully capture the beauty of this property. There is a babbling stream that runs along side the property. Everything was very clean and beautiful. Their attention to detail is extraordinary. We stayed in a yurt with our 6 and 8 year old. They had a blast climbing trees, playing in the stream and on the the playground. It was an amazing experience and we highly recommend staying here.

This place is wonderful. A beautiful, secluded getaway right outside of Asheville. The owners were so friendly and helpful even when we were running a few minutes past check-in time.

If you’re looking to unwind along a nice stream by a fire, crack a bottle of wine and stay in a cozy yurt/cabin/tiny house this is the place to do it.

Also, a little skeptical of the bathhouse at first being communal. That’s not the case at all. You get your very own bathroom with towels and toiletries included.

Do yourself a favor and visit this place. We will be returning!

We had a great week away without the kids. The property invites you in right away. We felt at home and relaxed. We loved having the full kitchen and outdoor grill to cook on all week. The bed was comfortable and we slept with the windows and back doors open all week long listening to the creek below. We were close to everything we wanted to do - the Parkway and Asheville. We will definitely be back. Our only wish is that it had a washer and dryer on the property.

When we first got to the Spring mountain cabins, the view was breath taking. Living in Florida for so long, it's so different. The scenery was beautiful, breathtaking with all of the mountains around. Our little family had so much fun, Kayaking, Hiking, Rock sliding, and just hanging out playing on the grounds, in the water and play ground. We definitely made great memories!! My kids cried and begged to stay one more week.
We were and are still very glad that we picked the Spring Mountain cabins in Candler. Can't wait to go back!!

We have stayed at Mountain Spring Cabins three times now (twice in the Mockingbird and once in the firefly). Both cabins are awesome and are kept very clean and well maintained. The ground are immaculate and the staff is extremely friendly. My wife and I plan on continuing to make our now annual trip here a family tradition!

It was a very good experience, quiet, the river spectacular.
Very nice place and we had snow.
The only complicated thing was trash handling, they never collected it, I always had to take it to a trash container at the entrance of the property.
Internet Antennas needs to be fixed or updated.

However 100% recommended.
