I was treated like a queen! Given excellent service for an impromptu wine tasting. The staff helped me pick the wine samples based upon my preferences. The tables were clean and seating plentiful. I was given time and space to enjoy the wine and make my decision. Staff was polite, helpful and friendly, and invited me to return. I came to the vineyard to purchase a nice bottle of wine, and I left with three wine bottles. If you love wine, you must try the ones at Iron Gate Winery!

My boyfriend and I stopped in on a Tuesday because it was the only winery in the area open. I am so glad we went! Such a cute and cozy environment and we loved every wine we tasted! The owner was so great and friendly and made us feel at home. Definitely going back :)

Enjoyed the brief tour and sit down tasting. Very nice touch. I was pleasantly surprise by the wines and really enjoyed several of their blends. Also received a few tips about cooking with wine which was awesome. Excited to make brownies with the sweet n' sassy cherry.

This was my first visit to a winery. We just moved here from OK a couple weeks ago and decided to go with my wife's Mom who was in town visiting. I'm not much of a wine drinker at all, though I thoroughly enjoyed the tasting. Ended up even buying a bottle of a red wine. The host, or "tasting guide" was excellent. The grounds themselves are really neat. A lot of character and charm throughout the buildings. We will be back.

The staff was wonderful. She was so sweet. She helped me and explained the different wines even though I missed the taste testing tour. The wine was really good. It was a great way to spend my friend's birthday.

If you like entertainment with your tasting then Iron Gate is the only place to go. The owner has been growing grapes here since the 90's and apprenticeshiped in the Yadkin Valley. The variety of 11 wines was great and the reds right up my alley. Take a tour of the facilities showed the barrels for aging and the stainless for the fruity varieties. One of the few on the Eastern side that actually use barrels. The tasting room was large and the the presenter a great entertainer. Loved every minute of the experience.

Great wines, amazing customer service, and very knowledgeable staff. We will definitely be back. The lady that helped us today, you could tell it was not just her job but also her passion to work there.

The tastings here are top notch, the wine is awesome, the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and they've got some of the best events in the area. I still visit even though I've moved to Ohio! Local wine that just can't be beat!

Lovely little botique winery nestled in the picturesque NC countryside. Surprisingly good wines ranging from semidry to sweet and fruitful. Also a nice venue in the warmer months for enjoying your wine outdoors.

Delightful! Debbie the winemaker tour was fantastic and very informative. Great selection of wines. Looking forward to trying their seasonal selections throughout the year. Will return, very convenient to RDU/RTP.

This is a great place. They are always doing something to help the community. The venue itself is beautiful and spacious. The wine is very good, especially Trekkie and Arthur

Absolutely love the wines and the atmosphere. Nothing more relaxing that sitting on the porch, drinking a wonderful wine and listening to music.

Beautiful outdoor space. Had a great time and the two ladies that worked there, I believe one is the owner was wonderful and very nice.

Everyone was friendly. Pleasant atmosphere. Tasty wines for just about any palette.
