Lunch was beyond delicious! I appreciated how they cleaned our tablez; I loved every vegetable esp the black-eyed peas with tomatoes. Our server was Cecee(i believe, cute short hair, really sweet, attentive) & she made our meal so much more enjoyable, even at checkout the young lady invited us back to Friday night events! I also loved how spaced out the tables were. It was just a marvelous experience!

Love coming here. The food is always delicious. Hot and fresh buffet style. The service is great. The best sweet tea in town. We’ll definitely be back.

Great Southern Buffet. Food is hot and plentiful. The waitstaff are pleasant and attentive. The environment is clean and comfortable. Restroom are clean, need too be updated

Located on the corner of E Front St and S Lexington in Burlington NC. What a gem for good buffet of home-cooking, just like mom's. Bet you'll eat too much!!

I visited this place several time’s years ago but haven’t been back since , it was awesome soul food, so when I found out they were open I have plans to stop by to see if they are still one of the triad’s best soul food spots.

I always come on Sunday because I need a break from cooking after Church. I love the family atmosphere and fellowship of the community coming together as one big family.

I try to eat at Occasions for lunch at least 1-2 times a month for lunch. There are those that will knit pick and complain about a few items here and there, but overall, especially for a buffet, this is quality food. The fried chicken, Mac n Cheese, meatloaf, and Salmon Pattie’s are all very exceptional. Most of the sides are solid too. Cornbread muffins are sweet and on point. The owner is very gracious and waits on staff even at her older age. Like everywhere else there may be a few items that aren’t as tasteful or appealing but everyone has a different taste pallet. It’s simple, straight forward cooking that tastes good. It’s worth going to, plus it’s a local business!

We had a great time! The food was good and the entertainment was great. The Owner Mrs.Eloise and her staff were the best. A down home family like environment. We will definitely be back.
