I stayed for section hours due to back to back brunch meetings today!!

Several of the servers knew me because this is one of my favorite places ever!!

The food was awesome, the service is always polite, professional, and on point (accurate).

The atmosphere is warm and inviting!

I sat in the bar for the first time and didn't realize the bar had tables!! Watch the game and transitioned between meetings beautifully!!

We will definitely return!

5 star experience for our Valentine’s Day date night! We went at 6 pm on a Saturday without a reservation, and only waited about 25 minutes for a table.

The food was sooo good! I highly recommend the Bison and Sausage Cream Cheese Dip. I had the prime rib for my entree and it was so juicy & tender.

I really loved the lodge vibe of this place, from the rustic decor to the giant fireplace. It felt like we were dining somewhere on a snowy mountaintop.

Our server was friendly and attentive!

Hope to come back soon to try out their brunch menu.

Husband took me for for our anniversary and it was an overall great experience. Staff was friendly and we were seated instantly, the complimentary bread and butter was very good, warm soft bread and salty butter was a great pair. I ordered the French dip panini and my husband the duck. My French dip was amazing, the horseradish sauce is a MUST on your sandwich, it definitely makes a difference and I would definitely reorder this, my fries were a little bit cold but that’s okay. My husbands dish looked great and tasted even better, he finished his whole meal. I would definitely be back and will recommend this place. We also only paid 54$ (not including tip) for our meal. Very affordable if you ask me.

What a great place in Winston-Salem. I went to lunch with my wife and another couple and everyone loved their food and drinks. The menu is very broad featuring items such as duck to normal dishes like hamburger. The staff was excellent. Can't wait to go back.

It was honestly one of the best meals I have ever had the pleasure to eat. The food was honestly nearly perfect. The service was impeccable. The main dining room is massive. Really cool looking. Cozy doesn't come to mind, but really well done. You get that lodge feel. Massive fireplaces, exposed beams, lots of rustic woodwork etc. A little expensive but well worth it. Enjoy!

Everything was Excellent, looks like an actual mountain Lodge on the inside.. would highly recommend & they have Petite plates / serving...

This location never disappoints me!!

Today we were on a pre-anniversay celebration and we tried to have all of the specials on the board when we walked in....

They sold the Strawberry Creme Brulee before we could to that course but the meatloaf was fantastic and we had Mac&Cheese, Brussel Sprouts, Loaded Potato Soup, Collard Greens, Smashed Sweet Potatoes, and the Pesto Chicken pizza without the chicken with Pelegrino, Coffee, and Lemonade.

Every bite was excellent! The mgr new our faces and greeted us politely and professionally when we came in! The server was attentive and so was the host!

Overall a fantastic experience for a nice lunch 😋!

The staff was warm and personable. Our group was there to support a co worker during her illness and River Birch personnel was very accommodating. I highly recommend River Birch Lodge to all who love quality and graciousness.

I got taken here for my birthday by my best friend. She had been before and said it was wonderful. We went for Sunday brunch. It was wonderful. Not only did I have a delicious salmon patty Benedict, but they also brought me a piece of cake for dessert. They also had good hot tea which for me is always a bonus!

Absolutely delicious meals! 100% recommend.

They have a lovely patio area which is wonderful to sit on a nice day.

Our waitress didn't know how to wear her mask. Her big ol' nose was sticking out the whole time. However, the rest of the staff wore their masks responsibly so that was reassuring. Despite our waitress' faux paus, it was a great meal. I will likely return (and just hope for a different waitress).

The food and service were top notch. We had brunch, and it was some of the best pancakes and chicken and waffles I've ever had. It's an upscale-woodsy luxury cabin vibe. We will definitely be back, and I'd highly recommend!

I first tried River Birch Lodge because of the large gluten free menu.

They were out of the GF chicken tenders, which was disappointing, but the food I did get was delicious. I love Brussels sprouts when they are cooked well (well done) and these are some of the best I've ever had. The french fries were also really good. I've never had a rum cake before and it had a unique flavor to it, but it was delicious. Most importantly, I didn't have any gluten reactions to the food.

I don't live nearby, unfortunately, but now I try to stop by any time I am in the area. I highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for delicious gluten free options.

From the bar: They make an EXCELLENT White Peach🍑 Martini.
Menu favorites: The Ribeye w/Bleu Cheese, Mama's Lasagna, and (if available) the Campfire Trout are all delicious.

My penne pasta was pretty good and the service was the best it was nice sitting on the patio. Great experience!

Service was quick & friendly. Food was far better than expected. The duck is well worth the cost as it is cooked to perfection with quality ingredients used for the whole dish. We had a loving dinner experience. Thank you!

My friend and I had a 6:30 pm reservation on a Tuesday. We probably didn't need the reservation, but I am still glad we did. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our server was polite, friendly, and professional. She also offered insights on dessert, and this was very helpful. She and several other staff checked on us frequently during our meal. The restaurant was clean and seating was spacious. The venue is a tad noisy, so quiet conversation is a challenge! The outdoor seating area might be quieter. Our food was delicious. We enjoyed half-price wine, Mountain Trout, and Lodge Pasta with grilled chicken, cheesecake with chocolate sauce, and cherry cobbler. Everything was cooked perfectly.
