Bells & Whistles @ the flower field

We hired Dorothy to do our daughter’s wedding in November. Dorothy did an outstanding job. She was always available to answer any questions that I had and met with us if needed. My daughter basically told Dorothy what her colors were and walked through her warehouse and just pointed to things she liked. From that, she let Dorothy just let her creative juices flow to create. Dorothy first had to set up for the wedding inside our venue and then had about an hour to flip it for the reception. Everything was amazing. Each detail was beautiful. We all were so happy with the magic she did to make the venue just gorgeous for my daughter’s wedding and all of the bouquets were fresh and beautiful also.

I ordered birthday flowers for my stepmother and they were delivered right on time!
This is the most beautiful arrangement of flowers I have ever seen! Everyone who saw them was in awe. This arrangement was even prettier than the picture on the website. I cannot thank the people at Bells & Whistles enough.

I gave Dorothy full creative reign on my bouquet with beach boho vibes and she crushed it! I am completely in love with the elements, size and beauty of her masterpiece. I was blown away and honored to carry around her arrangement on my wedding day. We also purchased 100 light pink roses and 50 stargazer lilies to DIY the rest of our florals. The loose flowers were stunning. 5 stars to the experience, care and expertise we received.

Dorothy did an amazing job with the flowers for my wedding last month and was such a pleasure to work with. We contacted her only a week before the wedding, but this was no problem for her, as she has tons of fresh, beautiful flowers in her field and doesn't have to order everything. Dorothy met in person with my mother (I live out of town), showed her around her flower field, and discussed in detail what we wanted for the wedding. Dorothy had a follow-up phone conversation with me to make sure we were all on the same page. On the wedding day a few hours before she was to arrive, she texted me photos of the bouquets to make SURE I was satisfied. I asked for a couple adjustments to be made and she happily tweaked the bouquets based on my feedback. When Dorothy arrived at the venue a couple hours before the ceremony, her calming presence was like a breath of fresh air. I was worried about a lot of things that day, but Dorothy made sure that the flowers weren't one of them. She immediately put me at ease and and got to work, adjusting the flower collar for my dog, putting the flowers on the arbor, etc. Dorothy is a lovely person, a talented florist, and clearly passionate about her work - I highly recommend her!

I ordered the French Country Compote for my parents anniversary. The process was easy online and I got a text from my parents the day it arrived and it was even more beautiful than I had pictured from the website. I'm extremely pleased with the entire process from order to delivery and will absolutely use Bells and Whistles at the Flower Field again in The future.

I'd like to start by pointing out something that I was unaware of early on in the planning process when I first found Dorothy and Bells and Whistles...she can coordinate rentals too! I called her for flowers and was thrilled when I found out she could also do our ceremony chairs, arch, and lighting and drape in our venue....and she can also do table decor and napkins. Since she was handling all of that, I had the peace of mind knowing it would be expertly coordinated. The website mentions rentals, but it undersold what she can really do, in my opinion! Having all of that in a one-stop shop was so nice!

Now to the flowers. THE. FLOWERS. Dorothy made my pinterest dreams came true and then some. I sent her pictures for inspiration and told her what I liked and didn't like. She took my vision and ran with it. The quantity and quality of florals we received were honestly more than I was expecting. Dorothy expertly chose bud vases and accessories that perfectly complemented the style of the wedding and were, yet again, above my expectations. My grandmother, who is VERY particular about flowers, has been raving about how beautiful they were since the wedding. Trust me when I say that is a HUGE compliment coming from her. I am so glad that I hired Bells and Whistles at the Flower Field for our wedding and would do it again in a heartbeat!

Simply the absolute best customer service. I made a mistake in my order and B&W insisted on fixing it. The flowers were absolutely perfect. Start your vacation off on the right foot by surprising your significant other with flowers.

Darcy was an absolute pleasure to work with…I sent her a couple pictures of arrangements I liked and she went above and beyond my expectations. Beautiful work! The quality of the flowers was unbelievable, as well. After the wedding, we put them in vases and were able to enjoy them through our vacation week…and even once we arrived back home! I highly recommend her!

Dorothy was so friendly and accommodating! She hand delivered some roses for a staff retreat at the last minute that were absolutely beautiful. I ordered a bouquet as a gift and have to say it was amazing! When the lilies bloomed, they were gorgeous. Everything looked and smelled amazing, they obviously hand picked everything.

On a side note, every person that works here was so friendly and helpful. I had to delay my order for a bit and they didn't hesitate to help me out. Everyone on the phone was friendly and kind. I would highly recommend purchasing from them not only because of the amazing job they did but how genuine they are. They care about providing you the best service possible! Dorothy is amazing!!! She took my last minute order and despite having worked for 13 hours straight she was able to get my order together for my mom's birthday late on a Friday night. The best service and the most beautiful flowers you'll find! 10/10 recommend.

FANTASTIC experience with the talented Dorothy of Bells & Whistles @ the flower field! I happened upon her business through a Google search and wholeheartedly recommend her! My extended family of 12 from four households was meeting in Duck to celebrate a 76th birthday, outdoors and distanced. Wanting to make the party feel festive in this Covid days, I ordered three centerpieces and they were AMAZING! Dorothy's work is unique and classy and simply beautiful. In addition to flowers, she included flowering oregano and eucalyptus and the centerpieces smelled divine! I regret I didn't take any pictures, but if I can get one from another family member, I'll definitely update this post. Dorothy was very easy to work with over email and if I ever have need for flowers in the OBX again, she's the only person I'd call!
