We had the absolutely best experience at Outer Bank Furniture. From the moment we walked into their showroom, it was clear that this store was top notch. The showroom itself was beautifully designed, easy to navigate, and full of design inspiration. We initially came to the store in search of a new mattress and had such a great experience with Michele in the Kitty Hawk location that we ended up doing much more. Michele did help us with our quest for a mattress and then also helped us refurnish a dining room and a living room. From beginning to end, we received such great service. Michele helped us identify our priorities and then suggested a perfect solution. She went out of her way, so many times, to ensure that everything was perfect and our new furniture was delivered within days. The delivery crew went out of their way to make sure their piece was also perfect, regardless of the downpour on the day of delivery. And finally, several weeks later, Michele followed up, not only to make sure that we were happy, but to let us know that she had secured a touch up pen for future use on our new dining room set. We had left no stone unturned in deciding on our purchases and visited a number of OBX furniture stores. By far, our experience at Outer Banks Furniture was so far beyond what we saw at some of the other stores that it really wasn't a comparison. We highly recommend them.

Outer Banks Furniture is easily 110%. Michelle was an amazing saleswoman. The whole crew is great. But the true rock stars are the delivery crew. We are in the off road area and today it was crazy hard to get out to our place. Anyone in the area knows when high tide hits the “Laughing Gull”, access is a problem. I totally figured they would cancel delivery on us. Instead these gentleman saved the day- sure delivery was a bit later, but they waited for low tide and took their Dodge Ram instead of the delivery truck. It is 8 pm on Friday night when these fellows should be having a drink with their wives or hanging with their kids. Instead they are here hanging with us making our first night in our new house complete- with a real bed instead of sleeping on the floor. Thank you guys for your awesome work and dedication- it is good to know that this type of hard work and dedication is still alive and well. We will always buy furniture from you in a heart beat just because your team is legitimately the real deal.

Couldn't be happier with a terrific recliner at a fair price in a cordial and pressure free showroom. Same day delivery and setup by two professionals who were swift, clean and thorough.

this place has the FRIENDLIEST workers. I had just moved into an apartment & needed to furnish it entirely. I was lucky enough to walk in & find they were having a warehouse sale down in Manteo! The staff down there was super kind & helpful, and made the process so easy. Not to mention how cute and durable the furniture is!! Thank you guys!!

We have been shopping with Outer Banks Furniture for years now. It has always been an amazing experience. Most of the furniture in our home is from their stores. We have their furniture in practically every room in our house- mattresses, bedroom furniture, kitchen table and living room furniture, etc… It is always a treat to go in there and talk to the staff and the owners. They always make you feel at home. The store has an amazing selection of decor items and furniture and is beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you are on the fence with an item, they will give you the information you need to make the right decision. We love to carry our cup of coffee(from their drink station) and just walk around sitting on all the chairs and couches (the kids like this part too- only we don’t give them a cup of coffee).

This is a family owned store and is run with the utmost care and professionalism. You feel like everyone has been your friend for years. We have never been disappointed with our purchases and go there each and every time we're in the Outer Banks. She picked out paint colors for our condo made design choices both my husband and I could agree and coordinated a long term plan for keeping our condo updated…. Beautiful store in the Outer Banks. Extensive selection of furniture and accessories nicely displayed to encourage your imagination. Designers are very professional and capable, in addition to being friendly and approachable. This family owned business does a great job and I highly recommend them.

Absolutely Amazing People! I found myself in a jam (no couch for a rental property) they not only went on the rental site to see what the room and chairs looked like, they found the material to match the chairs and draped it over the options for couches! And even though we purchased a larger couch elsewhere, when I called them again for a missing dresser, they immediately found a matching piece and arranged to have it delivered and set up in the room it needed to be in!

Great furniture store! Personalized service with highly professional design staff. We have been buying furniture from them for 20 years and we are always pleased with service.

We got a mattress 2 yrs ago. The warranty expired after 2 yrs but the mattress had issues. The owner came out and he looked over the mattress and felt that the mattress was not up to his expectations so he exchanged it for another one. I highly recommend this company and I will do business with them again!
