Fantastic beach! Depending on the waves, you may have fine sand or peppbly from shells. 10/10 I love this area!

Nice beach. Parking, showers and changing room across the street. Good location for older folks as it has a walkway over the dunes. Lifeguards were friendly and vigilant.

I always love stopping here to walk with my dog. We live on the beach road with private access, but I still enjoy this one. It's a weekly visit at least.

Nice clean beach area that's wide enough for many beachgoers to visit at once. Came for the day. It's too early for the public restrooms to be open so make plans accordingly.

Love this beach. There's a parking area that has bathrooms that are clean with real plumbing. It's a short walk across the street to the beach. Get there early because it's a popular place.
Life guards and updated surf conditions are right as you walk onto the beach.
I'm looking forward to going again!

Great spot for quick access to the beach. Parking is free, outdoor showers and restrooms available. Cross walk directly to the beach access. Access is a bit sloped, but there's a stair crossover just short way down if needed.

Happy 4th it was amazing! One of the prettiest pages we’ve ever been to! You can’t beat the Outer Banks. It has so much beauty in the ocean in the city the yummy food, the awesome people! This is my first experience, and I hope to definitely come back to the Outer Banks! I highly recommend giving this vacation a shot because it’s very worth it!

Great access point. Parking was easy, restrooms were clean, and showers were accessible. Seagulls were kind and courteous. They didn't even try to attack us, even once. Didn't have to give them any tostitos. This was perfect. Restaurants are close by in case you wanna grab a bite to eat.

Our favorite beach of our stay in the Outer Banks, the water was so clear and blue and almost Caribbean looking!

Love that near this public beach access there is a bath house where there is a bathroom and a place to rinse the sand off. Beach was clean and beautiful 😍

This beach has a life guard. I'm physically handicapped so I like when there's a lifeguard. This day the rip current was really bad. It was difficult to be in the ocean. So this has bathrooms, showers and garbage cans. Parking fills up quick. It's only wheelchair accessible to the sand. The beach is steep. I use two forearm crutches with sand pads on them. It's tough and very physical.

The parking lot gets full during the summer, don't try to park anywhere that is not an official parking spot or they will ticket you fast, I know from experience unfortunately. Nice bathrooms with outdoor showers as well.

It was a quiet peaceful place for a stroll though the weather was cold, beach goers were out surfing and sunbathing.

This is one of my favorite beach rd. public access points. Right down the road from John's and a shower to wash the kids off when you get off the beach for the ride home!

A safe, quick and easy public beach access if you are in the Kitty Hawk area. A great spot for early morning beach sunrise photos.
