ATR Physical Therapy and Fitness

Following a shoulder injury at work, I was scheduled for physical therapy at ATR with Jordan. I came to ATR with limited mobility in my arm and horrid pain that made me cringe- pinching and grinding in my shoulder blade, hand numbness, neck pain and consistent headaches. In less than 2 months, I’ve regained the strength and mobility to get back to the grind! With extreme patience and communication, Jordan creates individualized exercises to help get you back to normalcy. With his down to earth and genuine personality, he didn’t make you dread your appointments. ATR also takes walk-ins which is great! Thank you Jordan for healing me!

I was injured in a car accident a little over a year ago and was originally sent to another PT practice prior to coming to ATR Gastonia and the prior PT was unsure on how to treat me due to the severity of my injuries. However, Katie approached my case with total confidence and helped me every step of the way. She is extremely professional and truly cares for her patients. If there was ever any time something was off during my treatment she would reassess and make sure we were on the right path. She would check in with me every step of the way and always provide me things to do at home as well. I felt extremely comfortable with ATR and I couldn't recommend them enough.

For a year and half I went to Select Therapy for my injury and I felt that I was treated like a number as opposed to a person with an injury that wanted to get better. A co-worker suggested ATR. And that was the best advise that I ever followed. In the first six months I had improved so much I felt like a miracle had happened. The people at ATR are such professionals and they listened to my needs. They made me feel like a person instead of a number. And Katie Miller she is the best therapist. She listened to me and performed a miracle. I have hope that my pain level will keep going down and it’s all because of her. And thank you to everyone at ATR especially Fio for working with my crazy schedule.

This is the BEST physical therapist around. After 3 knee surgeries, I never fully recovered. After beginning therapy at ATR, my knee feels stronger and has more movement than it has in years! With an autoimmune disease that affects my joints, I still go weekly for hands-on therapy, stretching, and exercise. This location is also very convenient to my home in Charlotte because it's on this side of Gastonia.

Excellent place for PT. My son had an ACL tear and reconstruction. We had initial gone to a different place. ATR is not only closer to us but his experience has been so much better. His knee has improved so much. Chris and Jordan are the best.

I have been getting treatment on and off over the last few years with Katie at ATR (first in Ayrsley and more recently in Gastonia), she is by far the best! Her philosophy is that she wants to treat me so that she doesn't have to see me again, but alas, my body continues to break down as I get older LOL. However, I have complete trust in Katie and the ATR team. They are all super friendly, polite, and professional. Highly recommend.

After getting injured at work and spending months with the wrong therapists I was able to get into ATR and see Katie Miller for surgical rehab. She is professional, informational, and listens to how you are feeling. She gives each patient one on one therapy and treats you with respect. I would give 10⭐‘S if I could.

I've been to ATR for either six or seven visits now, and, in that short time, Jordan has helped me get rid of most of the issues I've been dealing with for several years now that have stemmed from athletic endeavors and a manual labor job. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I have dealt with an injury now for almost 7 years beginning to believe the doctors that I would never overcome my nerve pain and I would have to deal with it for the rest of my life. I started seeing Katie Miller and she totally changed the script on me! Through working on me and giving me the tools I needed to get stronger and avoid inflaming the injury over and over like I had been before, I now see the light at the end of the tunnel! I can do more of the activities I love doing and not have to worry about needing a week or month to recover from it. Katie totally changed my life and I would refer anyone I know to her!!!

Katie is FANTASTIC. I've had chronic neck issues for the last few years. Instead of focusing on the symptoms, Katie was determined to focus on the source. Over the last few years I've seen chiropractors to no avail. Katie is a PHYSICAL THERAPIST. She knew exactly what needed to be done and has helped me IMMENSELY. My neck has improved by leaps and bounds and I'm so grateful!!!!

Jordan is awesome! Never pushed me too far. My shoulder feels 95% better! Would recommend for excellent physical therapy!
