Update1/2021: from last review done 2yrs ago...Dr.Doering is still the best dentist I've ever seen, the hygienist working here, excellent, not rushing to clean teeth get you in & out but taking the time to do the job to the best.. I had noticed that 1 person had commented on the front desk, well I've only had Sarah and she is wonderful, sweet, great personality, and customer service skills, and for that matter everyone in this office is professional and friendly on top of that.. with all my health issues, they really take the time to update me medically and offer any solutions to my dental health that they can..as well as taking my updated history and giving me information as I need it.. I truly do appreciate that, also if you look at the inside, they are very conscious of your health, having you text at your arrival, keeping the patients separate from each other, a clean waiting room with clear dividers and they all including the receptionist wear mask.. I feel safe and know I'm always getting the best dental Care..so, as I said from my 1st visit to now my many times over visit, thank you and continue the awesome care you give your patients, it really is appreciated. ☆☆☆ 11/2019 It took originally a bit to get in, but not for fault of office, but this past year becoming disabled and changing insurance from BCBS to NC Medicaid, has been a change that's not always easy & not many accept it , let alone good Dr. So when I finally found The office, I was scheduled with Dr. Doering and on top of a great staff, ( for I now am at 3 visits) the hygienist, dental assistant and my dentist has been awesome. With my health issues, they take all precautions and are gentle with my teeth, gums ect.. it is much appreciated. They also take in consideration my heart, & connective tissue disorder with all concerns ,not disregarding but wanting all information to assist them in my care. I cant say enough of the practice, except I wish I had went sooner. If I could I'd give more than 5 stars.. and am thankful for a caring, empathetic and great practicing office. It did take me 3 months initially but only because of my new insurance, but not now, as I am established, but I'd definitely call no matter what insurance in plenty of time, for they are well liked and busy.

I was attending a conference in town and Dr. Doering fit me into his schedule due to a minor dental emergency. He went the extra mile on my tooth. The pet TV on the ceiling was really calming. I wish he was my regular dentist. The staff were also very helpful.

This is the by far the best place on the beach. Wonderful staff and a Doctor who gives good advice in proactive care while understanding sometimes we are all in a budget. A highly recommend and really was comfortable with my visit.

Whoever works the receptionist desk is the rudest lady I have ever had to talk to. Very disregarding to my questions and concerns. Did not care at all that I was in need of dental work, seemed like she just went through the steps to get a paycheck. Anyone working with the public should have a friendly and inviting personality and talking to her made me automatically never want to visit this dentistry.
