This place is very good. Extremely friendly employees, food is super tasty and comes fast.
We had the burger and my husband had the alligator bites. Both pretty good.
If you find yourself in OBX, make sure to stop here and try their food. Also they have excellent prices!!

Spankys is a family favorite! Great quality food at a good price! We love sitting inside or outside at the picnic tables! Service is always phenomenal and extremely friendly! Don't be discouraged by the long line, they move super fast and food comes quick! It's worth the wait! We will always support Spankys!

My boyfriend and I came here because he wanted to do the Viking challenge. It was great! The food was amazing and the owner was super nice. Everyone working was very friendly and interactive with the guests. We will definitely be coming here the next time we are in town. Highly recommend trying this place out.

Went back for the second time and the food was even better. I had the Viking burger again and it was AWESOME! My father had a rueben and said it had the perfect amount of kraut and dressing. The wife and kids (vegetarians) had fried mac and cheese, cheese sticks, fries and bannana pudding. All for right around $50. Love this place, the staff and owner are great. Excellent customer service, place was packed and we were asked bo less than five times if we were doing well, needw anything and enjoying our food.

What a delightful lunch! Good food made fresh and quick. Super friendly service. Owner Ben Zak goes out of his way to make sure you have a great experience. No wonder this place has such a great reputation.

We had the Philly Cheesesteak, footlong hotdog with hush puppies, and a chicken tenders with fries...all good!

This is a great place to stop by and get amazing homestyle dinner food. The staff was extremely bubbly and friendly. The family atmosphere made the experience enjoyable. I will definitely make this place a frequent eatery.

It doesn't get better than this when you want quick service dining. Excellent BBQ, excellent burgers and hot dogs and the sides are great too. Locally owned and operated and a highlight of any OBX trip.

We went there to try something new. My son always wanted to try a food eating challenge. He was so happy to complete it. The food was good and the experience was great. No one minded that I was taking photos..

Great tasting food, quick service and very friendly staff. We had gator bites, crab cake sandwich, large BBQ sandwich, cheese burger, onion rings ans French fries. Everything was good.

Enthusiasm would describe the people and atmosphere. Flavorful would describe the food. The price point is very appropriately set for each menu item. I got the Carolina Burger. You gotta appreciate homemade chili and homemade coleslaw on a seasoned burger. Blew me away! It tasted like my childhood. This could become a weekly ritual.

Food was delicious! Have been here before but I always stop by when I'm down here. I love the open face turkey and gravy. My partner loved the buffalo chicken sandwich.

Such a fun friendly place to get a bite! The workers are so nice and easy to speak with about anything. It speaks a lot about the business when you notice locals eating there at lunch time. Quick service and good food. Quality ingredients! Would recommend the crab cake (which is currently a side to help curb the market price of crab). They also have hand breaded items verses frozen. We eat here every year and are so glad we found it.

You HAVE to eat here! We devoured our lunch, which was cheaper and more delicious than any national fast food chain. Our family of 4 ate for $18. We loved the ambiance and cheerful employees. We will definitely be back!

Food really hit the spot - no frills comfort food done right. Tackled the viking burger with tots - the burger was seasoned well and super tasty despite its size and everything is better with tots. Would definitely go back again.

A great place for a burger. They get a good crust on their patties and the beef is flavorful. They have lots of topping options, too. They have limited outdoor seating, well spaced indoor seating, and the employees were wearing masks correctly.
