Great beach bar with real hand cut fries. Great game day specials and the kindest and most efficient servers. Especially Skyler E. From the first minute we felt welcome and well served. If she is not the head of training, she should be. Also the manager on duty tonight was awesome! Highly recommend.

We had a great experience. We were seated immediately and had great service. The Shrimp and Corn chowder is delicious! Other entrees ordered in our group were the Salmon, which I was told was fantastic and the shrimp burger, which was just okay. Fries were great! It was a great location to watch the football games!

What a great spot for a big group. We have seven starving people and our service was excellent and the giant four patty burger with chilli was just perfect. Great place to chill and enjoy sports and friends.

Great food, service , and atmosphere (loved sitting outside with our puppies). We had the crab dip which was amazing, fish tacos, and the pulled pork sandwich. Sarah was a wonderful, attentive waitress and the "ole gray headed guy" was awesome and took care of us outside with the heat. Are puppies were very happy with their meal as well.

This place is nice the food was great the ambiance of this restaurant is great. They even have a souvenir store inside where you can buy stuff. I like how the servers are so accommodating and friendly. A must-visit place when you're looking to dine with your family and friends.

Had been craving oysters and fried shrimp all week. Scored at shipwrecks. Thanks, Hailey. Fries perfect, horseradish tarter sauce spicy (as it should be) and all filling. Only suggestion and surprise, slaw was bland. Work on it. Got a shirt and sticker also. Thanks,

My broiled fresh North Carolina flounder was excellent. Tried two local beers both tops. Instant fans of any place with a doggy menu! Joey loved his chicken served on a souvenir frisbee. Staff are all so courteous and friendly. Lots of outside seating and parking.

Great lunch spot heading to Manteo! Erin was awesome! Started with a good Strawberry Daiquiri, then Carolina Crab Dip topped with Melted Cheddar Cheese - Served with Hand-cut Crostini. Entrees were Capt. John's Oysters - fried plump oysters served with house salad, coleslaw and hushpuppies! Also the Friday lunch special: Mahi Fish & Chips with Sriracha Sauce!! All sooooo good!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😋

The shrimp and corn chowder was by far the best thing I ate but it was all delicious!! Our waitress, Sierra S, was super sweet and attentive. Don't have a single complaint. We also ordered the corn bread, calamari and the admirals feast. All of it was so good!!

We've tried to go here several times. There is a consistent issue - you can stand on the "wait here to be seated" podium for 10 minutes or more, without being acknowledged. It doesn't matter the time of day, or if the place is busy. The fourth time was the charm.
Service was friendly, once seated, and attentive. The pickle brined chicken sandwich was fantastic. The place was clean and I really liked the open air aspect of the restaurant.

Great food, environment, service and pricing for fantastic and a little unique seafood dishes. Highly recommend. Owner was the host and has a finger on the pulse and it shows. We ate inside because it was a little chilly.

Excellent experience, my lobster mac n cheese was tasty. I ordered hushpuppies as an appetizer and they were perfectly breaded and cooked. Service was great and atmosphere was fun. Nice beer selection. Definitely worth the stop.

Another one of the few restaurants left in the OBX that has outstanding service, food, and atmosphere!! Stopped here for lunch, quickly greeted, drinks arrived quickly, and even though we ordered everything all at once, (appetizers, and entree's) it was paced so that everything didn't hit the table all at once. Will definitely be back! :)

Seafood was really fresh! Service was good and fast. Price is what you would expect based on market prices. A good selection of beer and cocktails. Definitely worth stopping in while visiting OBX

Wait staff, Charlie, she was great, friendly and quick. First time visiting. Food was good, fried oysters were fresh and melted in your mouth. Meatloaf special had pulled pork on top, all food was great.

It was a rainy night in a beach town so the wait was not short. BUT it sure was worth it! We were a group of five women (you know how that can be!) who are NY natives, and all most of us are pretty particular.

The duck egg roles were amazing, the shrimp & corn chowder was perfectly balanced- just the right thickness and flavor. Two of us had the shrimp & grits. I've had shrimp & grits in what's considered a fine restaurant in Charleston - but this was so far superior with a brown sauce, andouille sausage over a cake of fried grits. Others at our table had the macaroni & cheese with chicken, crab cake, salmon. All were really well prepared. They have a great selection of IPA's and even a mango mojito! The owner happened to be there that night and he was busy bussing tables and keeping customers happy. Our waitress, Theresa, was fabulous. Efficient, personable, knowledgeable and fun! When two of us had questions about a particular beer she brought samples!
This restaurant is one of a few by this same owner (who was everywhere that evening making sure his guests had a good experience). We will be sure to come back here, and to try his other eateries.

Amazing first time experience! Searched out a dog friendly establishment since we were going to the OBX with our puppy & Shipwrecks was recommended. They did not disappoint! Service was great, staff friendly as well as the other patrons. I has the lunch special, soup & salad & those cornbread croutons were the bonus item! Hubby had Tuna tacos which he raved about. Little Lucy (puppy) practiced her manners with her chicken & raw carrots dish served on a Shipwrecks Frisbee. Already looking forward to another visit to this gem.

Quite simply the greatest scallops I've ever had. My boss had the shrimp and grits and... You know that feeling when your body automatically closes your eyes while you are enjoying the food? Yeah... It was like that.
