Great stop for dinner. Affordable, friendly, and delicious. Chips & Salsa were on the table instantly. (We were hungry, lol) And a 2nd batch was dropped off without request. Everyone’s order was correct and plentiful. The “Thank you for coming” as we were leaving, was unexpected and made us feel appreciated. We were only passing through, but won’t hesitate to stop again. I recently dined at a short Mexican restaurant and had a great experience. I have to say this is my new favorite Mexican resto place. The food was delicious, with authentic flavors that showcased the richness of Mexican cuisine. The portion sizes were generous, and the service was efficient and friendly. My boyfriend is vegan and they have good options to choose from. My personal favorite is Choripollo.

The food is good. Standard Mexican fare is always good and unlimited chips and salsa which taste wonderful. I have eaten here several times and the service is always excellent. They are generally happy that you came and want to serve you. I had Salmon and it was ok but everything else was spot on. My favorite dish here are the fajitas and burritos!!!!

Had a large group of 15. Service was quick. Food was excellent. Got the taco salad and the enchiladas Mexicana. Enjoyed.

First time here, was absolutely amazing! Our server was nice, forgot a few things and was really slow bringing things back. I think she had tables all the way in the back. Usually I would have really not liked that, but she made up for it and the food was amazing. Also, the mango margaritas were amazing! (I asked for mango to be added)

Finally!! After almost more than 2 years in Gastonia, I found the BEST Mexican restaurant!! Authentic Mexican food! Great flavor, great service, great atmosphere, great prices. Their chori pollo was outstanding as were their steak fajitas!! Can't believe it took us this long to find Taxco!!

My son and husband enjoyed their Father's Day lunch here. The Manager was thorough and made sure our lunch was correct. He greeted us as we walked in, then served our menus. The parking lot was full of customers today. There are so many choices for your meal! I had #9- burrito and tamale for $7.99. Delicious, authentic, super tasty! Visit them soon at this new location.

Great place to grab a beer and get something to eat the food is awesome. Adam is a great server and has great personality.

Ordered the Super Nachos (no rice or beans). The chicken had a better flavor than the beef, in my opinion. And there wasn't enough cheese. That being said, it was still a good dish and I'll definitely be going back again. The service was awesome and the price was right.

Eduardo and staff are amazing. We love coming here the foods is hands down the best and we always have a good time. They take good care of us!

SO glad we found this place in Gastonia! Their Al pastor tacos, salsa, and cheese dip are amazing! We’ve only had a couple hiccups where we were given the wrong tortillas but that’s fixable. I would definitely recommend!

I've been wanting to try here for a bit. I went Sunday and got the ACP which was phenomenal. I'm always nervous about trying certain dishes away from my go to spots but I'm glad I did. It was a bit on the expensive side but it was a lot of food. For my entree and tea it came to 20. I could have fed two people off my plate.

This was my first time eating at Texaco. I felt very welcomed when I got here. The food was top notch. I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants. But this place was by far my favorite. I would recommend trying this place if in the area.
