Awesome little campground. Owners are very helpful. They escort you to your site and will help you back in. It is tight, but hey you are a hundred yards from the beach! Our spot was about 12 to 15 feet from campside door to the other trailer spot. Not too bad and the people were very friendly. A nice hidden gem. We will return here next year for a week or two. The campground deals in cash or check, no online credit card booking so call ahead to get a spot. No bath houses so only self contained RVs can enjoy the full hook up sites.

Our family enjoyed such a great weekend at Kitty Hawk RV Park. Making a reservation was so simple and check in was so easy. We will definitely return in the future.

This is a great camp ground in a central location to much of what the OBX has to offer. Van was very welcoming upon our arrival and helpful during our short stay.

There's not much to the campground itself, but everything you need is in walking, biking or driving distance. Most importantly, though, the beach was very short walk from our site. There is a cross walk at the beach road to a private access for campground residents.

Our RV doesn't have any slide outs so the site was a great fit for our purposes. Folks with bigger rigs might have a tight fit, but again, if you're just there for the beach and other such fun, this is a great affordable place for base camp! :) We plan to go back for future visits! :)

Last-minute reservations placed us the second spot away from the ocean. a simple walk across the street put you on one of the world's best beaches. I would most definitely go back again!

Camped here this week. Full hookups on site. Great proximity to the beach and Outer Banks shopping. Several restaurants within walking distance. Most sites are tight, but being able to walk to the beach was nice.

Everyone was super nice to myself and my children. The people running the rv park made sure to make us all feel welcome and even gave the kids ice cream several times. The boys rode their bikes all through the park and never had anyone be anything other than kind. Beach is literally within the distance to throw a rock at from our camper. You can get ice on site. They take care of the trash as well. We stayed 6 nights and paid so so much less than renting a house etc. We will definitely be coming back again as soon as we can.

Owner met us upon arrival. Super friendly and helpful. Once we got backed into our spot and set up we headed to the beach! Which was directly across the street! We have access to a private beach walkway and used it daily. The location is prefect. We have loved our stay here and will be back!!

Fantastic location! Great host. Would've liked a bathhouse but wouldn't let that stop me from returning.

This place is a little gem. Tight spots but the private beach is great and not crowded. People that run the place have been very nice. The beach is a short walk through the park and across the road. I come down for a little beach and lots of hanging out with friends from Nags Head to Duck so the location is awesome.

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place. The staff was really helpful. We rented 2 sites for 2 trailers for a week. As soon as we pulled in, they helped us park and explained to us some of the local eateries, etc. We had read reviews from some about small spaces. Yes they are a little tight, but they know how to fit every size trailer in them. And once situated, we had plenty of room to park, and sit around and talk and were never bothered by neighbors. The walk to the beach was so short it was unreal. When we went to other areas for day visits, they told us what we should look for and what was going on at some of the places. Very helpful information. Everyone in our party said they would definitely come back to this RV Park when we come back for another trip. I don't think you can find a friendlier and more knowledgeable RV Park in the area.

Hidden gem! This place was able to get us in last minute on our way down to the OBX. The staff was very friendly and helpful. VERY reasonably priced considering we went in peak season. We ended up with lot #2 which provided us with Ocean and Dune views. It was just a quick walk across the street to the beach. Would definitely stay here again

Quaint RV park run by excellent people. About as close to the beach as you can get as it's built around a sand dune and your yard is just sand. Our kids loved it. There is even a small playground on site for the kids, but I think the beach is the real attraction.

are the spots close? YES. did it bother us? not at all. if you want more room go to the beach. the location to the beach is perfect you are literally across a 2 lane road from the ocean. we will absolutely be back. this is a basic campground, no pool, playground, shower house, etc.... we had electric, water, and sewer for $60 per night. were already planning our trip back to kitty hawk rv park from illinois.

After having a horrible experience at Oregon Inlet Campsite, we came across Kitty Hawk RV Park. We definitely wish we would've come here in the first place! The people are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the beach is right across the street. Your dogs are able to enjoy the beach as well, and there's a really great sushi place right next door.
