Nice restaurant. It was more than I expected. The service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and helpful in making our choices of appetizers and our drink order. They came pretty quick. The soft pretzel was gigantic and so, so good. Our entrées were so delicious. We ended up ordering a flight of hard ciders. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The food was fantastic and was delicious. Come try it for yourself. I think you'll love it.

Alisha (sp?) our waitress recommended we try boneless chicken wings coated in garlic and parm dressing I believe - didn't disappoint. Southwestern egg rolls were on point. Thanks Alisha for your recommendation and enjoyable visit. You rock!

We've been to Jds several times. Have always had good food and great service- Esp when Waiter "Dre" serves us. Ask for him he goes above and beyond to make your visit a wonderful one. You will leave full and happy with your visit.

Hands down best wings in Apex. Smoked, crisp chicken is juicy and cooked to perfection. All the food here is amazing i just happen to love the wings the most. On top of great food, Dre, the server, is the absolute BEST. He remembers you if you frequent, goes out of his way to say hello and make everyone feel welcome and honestly just an all around genuine guy.

Good salad, slow grilled wings are fabulous, spicy and tasty. Service was great, Alicia was very nice. We’ll be back!

Love JD’s Tavern!! This is one of our favorite spots in Apex to relax have some cocktails and great food!! Service is amazing and the food NEVER disappoints!!

Very welcoming!!!!! The service was excellent, our server was personable, and very helpful with the menu. The overall decor of the restaurant was different but it was also close to Halloween. THE FOOD!!! The food was shockingly and unbelievably delicious and I was blown away with the flavors!! I will be a repeat customer!!!

We popped in for a light meal in a Tuesday night and met up with a friend. We had a Greek Salad, gyro, tater tots and some drinks. Service was excellent, food came out quickly and it was a great value. It was our first visit and we’ll be back again.

The best burgers and chicken wings* I have had in the area! I wasn't even very hungry when I went here. But the custom Angus burger and the wings were just delicious and I couldn't stop finishing it all.

Will be a regular here!

*Wings at another Apex wing place are better but the overall menu here is more delicious and well tasting IMO

Surprisingly good experience. We hadn’t been here in about 10 years. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and it was very good. The prices were good too. They will serve a tall 23oz IPA for $7.95. The service was friendly and efficient. Be aware they use DirecTV, so the games may not be on the TVs if it’s storming outside.

Cold beer and good food - what's not to like

I had the Cuban sandwich and the Naked Baked. The sandwich was good and the Naked Baker was excellent. Portions were generous. Our waitress was great. All in all a good experience.

We eat here often and the food is so good! Dre is our favorite server and always greets us with a smile.

Cool place to hang out and watch a game. It was our first time here and our server was very nice (shanace) we got the nachos with chicken and it could easily feed 4 people. This was the first time we had nachos in a restaurant that were actually layered with cheese and all the good toppings throughout. We were full just with the nachos , and barely ate our dinner. I definitely recommend trying the naked baker potatoes.

Nothing but good things to say. We had the grilled wings, Bavarian pretzel, and the barbacoa tacos. Everything was amazing. 10/10

So yummy! I’ve been twice in a week! Everything I’ve tried has been amazing! Fast service! The food also comes out fast!

One of the best experiences I've had in a restaurant in a long time! I had to go to Apex to pick up some furniture and stopped in here for dinner and drinks. The draft selection is great and the food is really great too. We sat at the bar and Allie CJ and Julie took amazing care of us. I will drive 25 minutes to come here again
The wings and brussel sprouts are a must!

We were treated like locals and welcomed to the bar. Food was great and we got a free appetizer as first timers. Highly recommend that you try the grilled wings. We'll be back soon
