Peakway Taps

This place is AMAZING.  Numerous beers on draft based on local breweries and way too many canned beers available.  Their selection of canned beers is out of this world.  Definitely recommend this small place for your beer needs whether you are joining friends and family to have a draft beer or you are there to pick up a new beer you want to try.  The place is small indoors, however, there are numerous tables and chairs set up to hang out.  There is also an area by the bar as well as a fairly large outdoor patio area.  I wanted to try a few new beers I haven’t had before, so I opted to get a flight of four beers (NoDa Coco Loco, I Know Where the Light Is, Mango Creamsicle Blender, and the Residual Imprint of Nearly Illogical Beginnings).  I only got that last beer because of its long name!  The best beer I had was the NoDa Coco Loco.  Nevertheless, Peakway Taps is an awesome bar, shop, and place to hang out.

If you like craft beer and you’re in Apex, this is your place. Excellent selection of beers on tap and in cans from an ever expanding list of breweries, both in-state and nationwide. The staff is always friendly, the daily specials are on point and the beer is always FRESH. Other bottle shops seem to let their stock sit on the shelves for too long, and if you like IPAs, that’s a problem. Never had that issue here.

Awesome local bottle shop and taps. Great selection of beers to go and the tap selection offers a perfect mix of styles and is always rotating. The crew is also super fun and knowledgeable.

This place may have the best selection in the triangle, staff is friendly and always helpful. The owner Paul is very enthusiastic about beer and is always willing to give you suggestions. You can get food from any surrounding restaurant and eat in.

They have become the best stop in the Triange for great beer, not good beer, but GREAT beer. Couldn’t recommend them more highly. They also offer kegs for purchase.

Probably the best taplist variety of breweries from across the US in the Triangle area. They get the best NC breweries - Burial, New Anthem, Casita etc, but also the likes of Trillium, Bottle Logic, Maine beer co and others. Great selection of to go as well especially stouts and sours to go with the hoppy stuff.

Peakway gets beers (both draft and cans) that nobody else gets especially in SW Wake. Paul and Gracie are knowledgeable and down-to- earth people. My go-to spot for beer.

Great bottle and can selections with rotating taps that have something for everyone. Cool atmosphere to enjoy a few beers and chat with friends!

They always have great variety of beers on tap and in bottle shop. Friendly service and fun "pay it forward" wall will not disappoint. Tables outside for enjoying the nice weather are an awesome plus.

Went to "Vinyl Night" the other night and it was fantastic! They had a great selection of beers and the bartender was super sweet and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back!

Went for the Burial tap takeover. Great variety of different styles of beer. The staff are always friendly. You can take your dog here too!

Great draft beers, just wish bottle shops kept bottles of IPA cooler for better shelf life. Place hasn't really changed since changing owners.

Edit: Peakway Taps has really expanded the seating, and like before, they keep a few cans cool. Great place.
