Delicious food, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere! They have an excellent selection of menu items and the staff was very friendly, I didn't catch her name but our server was very attentive and helpful

We went here for a shop Christmas dinner! There were 14 of us in our party. To start off the service was excellent!!! Our waiter was quick to get our drinks, apps and meals out to us and the food was amazing all around!! This was my first time here but I will personally be back!

My family and I visit many types of restaurants from Chinese to steak house to Lebanese and more......... Being that I use to be a food critic and management of restaurants myself,, I have to go out of my way and honestly say that this has been the best experience I've ever had. The,, OMG,, on point. The service ( Kala) very highly professional. The atmosphere,, awesome. Very inviting and relaxing. Not too much or too little of anything. We will be back and tell all our people.

Holly made my first experience @ Village Steakhouse phenomenal. I was greeted with a smile and seated quickly. The atmosphere is Inviting with a hometown feel. Great menu selection from steaks, ribs, seafood and burgers too sandwiches, wraps and AYCE salad bar. Baskets of warm crusty bread with real butter, homemade ranch dressing and perfectly seasoned meat cooked to perfection all made for a superb meal. Be sure to try their specialty cocktails with fresh mint infused syrups - Thank you Holly!

One of the best restaurants in this area! If you are considering it, definitely give it a shot. The burgers, steaks and salad bar are very good. Great bartenders as well if you enjoy the bar areas.

A friend at the office mentioned this place and it was totally worth it! Went there with my husband for our 3rd year anniversary. We shared a shrimp cocktail 🍤 blackened. As entrée he had filet mignon with asparagus and sweet potatoes fries. I ordered the grilled yellow tuna with plain baked sweet potato. Everything was delicious! 😃 just be careful, cause they have all you can eat salad bar. Also very good 🥗.

"Don't judge a book by its cover". Fine Dining at its best! Very, Very Good! Perfect Sirloin, fresh salad bar, steamed broccoli, fresh bread, fried mozzarella! Our friend still raves about a particular pasta sauce here as being the best he has had. It does not look like a fine dinning place from outside. You will think that you are in the wrong place. The lettering is on the front porch windows(and the signs by the hiway) to let you know that your at the correct building. On the inside it is a pleasant atmosphere in the dining room, with a fire place. We were in downtown Goldsboro, but it did not show up on the Google restaurant search results, but it is a fairly short drive out of town. They have had issues with getting it to list, hence why I am leaving a review. This is our second visit here. We have high expectations and they have exceeded our expectations each time. If I remember correctly they don't accept checks. The staff were attentive and friendly. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. The detailed menu with prices is here on Google. We have been to many fine dining establishments and the food here is better than most. Many Awards are posted on the wall. United Way of Wayne County... Voted Best: Hometown Favorites, Special Occasion Dinner, for multiple years. This is where the locals go. If you are seeking the best food, and aren't overly concerned about the building, I highly recommend it! (BTW,,, when you leave it is easy to not see the elevated opposite side of the highway, especially at night,,, and they DON'T have a ONE -WAY SIGN... So make sure that you ONLY TURN RIGHT when you pull out on the highway. You can make a U-Turn in 300 yards if you are heading back towards Goldsboro.). Enjoy!

we eat at this establishment regularly and always on Valentines night, this was the 1st place I took my (NOW) wife to and the atmosphere and the people that work here are great. we will continue to visit this establishment even though its a drive from Trenton NC. it is a special place to us.

We enjoyed our dinner, I had the. Ribeye, the twice baked potato was not the best I’ve had. The bacon wrapped shrimps and the crab did was really good. The Calamari was good but I’ve had better, it tasted good but wasn’t done on the breading part. The service was good and we were 11 of us and most everyone enjoyed themselves and liked the food. The salad bar was good as always.

Everything on the menu is awesome! But I recommend the filet or the ribeye. I've had both, and neither one is a bad choice. The asparagus and the twice baked mashed potatoes are excellent sides. If you're really hungry, the salad bar is another excellent choice. But save room for dessert.

Great place to have dinner on New Year's Eve! Our server was Britt and she was cheerful and on point with everything and ensured our tea glasses stayed full. They were busy tonight, but managed to get it done with limited staff. The food was good and we had the HUGE chocolate cake for dessert, that was so rich and tasty. Great place for lunch or dinner!

My husband and I have driven by this place for years. Today we wanted to do a day date and it was the perfect place. Everything was amazing! It’s not cheap, but the flavors, quality, and customer service are worth every dollar! We will definitely be back!

A great place to eat! My family goes to Village Steakhouse several times a month and so enjoy the food and great service! Pete and all of his staff are excellent and make sure you feel right at home!

My husband and I enjoyed a steak dinner here for our 26th wedding anniversary. We were extremely pleased with the food, service and price. The menu provided a nice variety of appetizers and entrees. Salad bar was self-serve, well stocked. Hannah did an awesome job keeping an eye on us. We were too full for dessert, but the dessert menu looked delicious and reasonably priced as well. We will for sure go back!

My best friend had his wedding rehearsal dinner there last night. It was a great atmosphere, the food was very well prepared, and the service was outstanding. I had a sirloin and it was so tender amd juicy; medium rare just like I ordered it. The salad bar had everything that I could ask for. Very reasonable pricing. I will definitely be back!!
