Bishop has been truly amazing to work with! I feel so lucky to have found her because she is the absolute best realtor I have ever worked with and I have worked with several. She is super knowledgeable about the area which was very important for us since we're not from the area. She was very focused on what I wanted and made sure I didn't jump into a purchase that wasn't ideal for me. Her main focus was always how to help us find a great property for the best price, not just to make a sale. She thought of everything and was on top of every single detail at every step of the way. On top of all that she's a fantastic person and I truly enjoyed working with her. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience! We just closed on our dream mountain house and I can safely say that it would not have been possible without her!

Mark Mashburn has been the most excellent Realtor to work with. He really cares about finding you the home that fits you, rather than just trying to sell you the first thing you tour. We have gotten a few showings with him whenever one would pop up but they didn't work out over the past year, and then the perfect property got listed and he made sure we had a showing and were able to get in an offer, despite being out of town!! The entire team there is amazing from others we have worked with but Mark is who we recommend to everyone. He really gets it.

My husband and I inherited a home in Boone NC which we rented out for 14 years. We live in California and haven't seen the place since. We started talking to Scott over a year ago as he guided us through the various considerations to get the house sold in this ever-changing market.
Scott checked out the house and provided recommendations on every aspect of the sale including the “do’s” and “don'ts” on improvements to the house, time of sale (tricky with a rental), and even suggested we raise the rent before the next cycle (new tenants, new lease) as it was undermarket price . We immediately felt at ease. As we progressed through the process, Scott was super responsive, assisted with every request, and always made us feel like we were treasured clients even though our house was far from "high-end". As we neared the time for selling, the pace picked up. Scott's expertise and experience were invaluable as we encountered various "local" quirks, one being that we had a shared road with multiple neighbors with no shared maintenance contract. He handled every obstacle with ease. We closed on the sale much faster than we expected and within our expected price range. We feel certain had it not been for Scott, we would have had a very different (negative) outcome. Buying property in the High Country is no easy task now-a-days. Luckily, we were able to work with Mark Mashburn (through Boone Realty) to purchase our family home in Zionville NC! We had been working with Mark for about a year or so at this point. He would always get us into the properties in the past we were interested in quickly and efficiently! He was very patient with us and never pressured us to do anything we weren’t comfortable with, understanding that buying a home is no easy decision! A while ago we went through a multiple offer situation with him, but ended up not being chosen. But when touring the house we later decided to put an offer on, he gave us that nudge of confidence that we SO needed to make an offer on another multiple-offer situation. These kinds of situations are stressful for us, especially after our last attempt, but his demeanor and positivity definitely led us to pursue this house and it paid off! He then continued to be available to these first-time homebuyers when it came to any questions, comments or concerns we had. He was quickly able to give us a list of options for inspectors and any other specialist we were looking for at the time. All the people he recommended and we worked with were SO pleasant and we will definitely be working with them again.
