Awesome park. Only park close. It has shaded areas, fish hatchery, bathrooms and benches. Our kids loved playing here. As the afternoon went on, 30 kids came and went. Popular area for both kids and adults. This park has built in grills near the benches. I wish we knew that beforehand. Great place to cook out!

Children 12 and under can fish here free. Lots of rainbow trout in the waters. The park is also home to a trout hatchery. Kids can take part in feeding the fish. Nice picnic tables line the riverside and kids can play in the cool water. The park also has a nice playset and covered pavilion.

Great place to take kids, has a paved ramp to bring kids in strollers. Creek was beautiful, was really cold though. 😂 Had a nice fishing spot for kids. Also had a small playground. Autistic son really loved the water too. You can't fish on Thursdays though, although we didn't fish, the kids swam in the creek.

The water is so clear and the scenery is great. You could sit and just watch the fish swim back and forth. Playground area was a nice place for the kids to play. Restrooms were clean.

Nice place to see a little wildlife while letting the kids burn energy. We saw a bald eagle! Several geese. There is a fish hatchery right next to the park. Lots of benches and picnic tables. A shelter with a proper grill and sinks as well as shuffleboard. A walk way to the riverside. Restrooms with a well kept building that has been freshly painted. Beautiful scenery. Not may playgrounds in the area but this is a great one. Also the equipment is in good condition and has 4 slides on it. Our 2 year old was able to enjoy it well. Clean place. Be careful of bears as this entire city and surrounding area does have them. We did not see any but noticed some people did not bother to learn how to operate the special trash cans designed to keep bears out. Please be sure you do so that we can all be safe and enjoy these parks. We also don't want any harm to happen to the bear.

Great little park especially for kids they have a children's fishing area for kids under 12 and we saw some whoppers out there in the creek! Sign said no fishing on Thursdays so I guess even the fish need a day off! As a local Tn real estate broker I try to visit as many places like this as possible. Always a great time inthe Great Smoky Mountains!

Ok so gatlinburg restocks the stream right from this location. You're not allowed to fish on Thursday as that's the day they release the new fish. But the section the park is at is specifically for children to fish!! My kids loved it. The bigger fish were tough but the tiny fish were very active which was fun!! My boys and I had a blast! The water is super clear and relaxing to hear. Enjoy yourself to a family picnic and there's even a playground for the kids to enjoy when taking a break from fishing!!

Beautiful little park. Great for kids and picnics, but PLEASE, tourists need to stop taking rocks from the creeks around here. Not good for the ecosystem we have here. There are tables and restrooms.

A great place to let little ones play. Also the fish hatchery is right next beside the park. On Thursdays you can see them get fed and talk to those who care for the rainbow trout until they are released. A must stop for our family.

We wanted to go to a place where the children could fish without having time restrictions. This is the perfect spot. They have concrete picnic tables and grills that are right by the water. They also have a big kiosk for like large family gatherings and the bathrooms are not outhouses. They are regular bathrooms. Which for me is a PLUS. A play ground for the little ones is really close by that adults can enjoy their food AND also keep an eye on their children. The water is not deep at all, (where we were) But I believe as you go further down it starts to get deep. Children 12 yrs and under can fish from bridge to bridge, this is because the water is safer and not too deep. I am glad I found this little gem on my maps and I will be coming here again on our next vacation. Plus the view is mesmerizing.

Had a lot of fun with my 4 year old son. He enjoyed the river, trying to catch fish. We went at 9 am, and it was only us, we came back at around 2, and it was super crowded, but we still had fun.
We did see a bald eagle, and that was just the coolest.

If you love natures and just want to breath a fresh air this is a perfect park to go to just chill and listen to the small water falls so relaxing while watching your little one’s playing on the playground or walk around the side of the river
