Absolutely incredible food, and friendly service. The fried yuca was hands-down the best we have ever had. But we also ordered the croqueta sandwich, rice, beans, papa rellena, and guava/cheese empanadas. You must try it!

We ordered the Roja Vieja (in picture) and the meat was super tender and the flavor was savory! Their beef and cheese empanada dough was perfect, I need the recipe. And the croquette sandwich was a must. We came twice while visiting Tennessee. Must stop in.

Stopped here for lunch, greated at the door. Waitress was great answered all of our questions. Loved the food wish there was one at home.

In a town full of preprepared and processed meals, I was so glad to have this authentic option. Food was delicious and clearly prepared to order. Is it the best Cuban food ever? No (the beans could use more seasoning) but it’s definitely worth a visit.

Throughout my meal I heard them run out of several entree options and turn several parties away due to a long wait. Would recommend getting there earlier rather than later as they only have one chef.

I just have to say it's like going back on time with this place. The food is so good, clean, and organized. Great portions, the empanadas (empanadillas for us) are so good. I'm not going to talk about the coffee, you have to try it yourself. I recommend this place 100%.

Food is amazing! We had the pulled pork combo, the fried yuca and the pulled pork sandwich, and they were so delicious!!!!!! Not to mention the guava pastry! We absolutely loved everything we ordered!

The staff is very professional and friendly! Definitely will visit again if we found ourselves in the Smoky Mountains.

Home away from home meal! You will get your money's worth here in quality, portions, and service. My family and I had a variety of dishes with the intent of tasting as much of their menu as possible, including: Ropa vieja, Bistec palomilla, Picadillo, Masitas, Cuban Sandwich, variety of fresh smoothies and sides (tostones, rice and beans, and yuca). My only gripe was that the meats could have used a bit of extra seasoning BUT BUT that's our personal taste. I get why it is better for a business to go lite on the salt, plus it is healthier. Otherwise, the grilled meats were cooked to perfection. Nothing a few slices of lime can't fix to enhance the flavor of grilled meats. Their smoothies were spot on! The highlight of our meal was an unexpected side dish that my family is still talking about, the yuca with onions! Whoever made it knows what they are doing. Buen Provecho! Enjoy!

Very good Cuban restaurant. It is under new management beginning today. The daughter of the owner is now running restaurant with some friends. Service was personable. Pricing was fair. Menu was truly Cuban. Food was exceptionally good, and we have eaten Cuban and Latin food for decades. Give this pace a try. The guava and cheese pastries are our favorite and their's were right on.

Everything. That's what's good here. We had the Cuban sandwich, rice, beans, beef empanada, guava juice, sweet plantains, and guava pastries. Every time we tried another item, we were impressed. I'm from Florida and the tastes and smells remind me of home 💜

Delicious authentic Cuban dishes here! The masitas de puerco are something special. Excellent black beans and fried plantains fresh yuca (yum a dum dum) also on offer. Generous portions. Me gustan los sabores latinos.

Most delicious restaurant around here! The food is so fresh and authentic! The empanadas were out is this world. I’ll be back here every single time I’m in Pigeon Forge!

My friend and I came here because the place we were going to go had an hour queue... so glad we did! The Masa de Puerco was amazing, I have never tried anything like it. Pork which was crispy on the outside but soft and tender on the inside... I would come back for this alone!

Had a great experience at Smokies Cuban Cafe in Pigeon Forge. The chicken, beef, and beef and cheese empanadas were authentic, tasty, and done right. The regular Cuban sandwich was again full of delicious authentic flavor as was the media noche sandwich with the pulled pork, press toasted perfectly. The only negative on the day we went (5/9/22) was that the restaurant was definitely understaffed in the front of house. However, our server was hardworking, apologetic, and still gave way better service than most restaurants with full staff. We had a little longer wait in between but I still gave a 20 percent tip because it wasn’t her fault and she was good. Five stars.

Absolutely amazing food and even better service. So glad to find such good cuban food up here. I felt like I was back home in Miami.

I'm Puerto Rican and Cuban food is the most similar to our culture.
We are on vacation from Atlanta and We originally came but they were honest with us about being out of a lot of items.
As is to be expected during Christmas week!
We got a Cuban coffee (which was GREAT!) And left.
After STRUGGLING to find something that would equally spark our interest, we decided to just come back.
I am so glad we did.
Not only are they incredibly nice and welcoming but the food is absolutely delicious!
I can only imagine how great the rest of the items are when they are fully stocked!

5 stars, all the way.

Ps. It was also very clean which is yet another plus.

Stopped in here for lunch while in the area for a wedding. The food, atmosphere and service was wonderful! Really lovely people working here. The fried pork is SO tender and delicious. Really an unexpected gem in the Pigeon Forge area, you have to stop in!

If you like Latino food highly recommend this place I was a little nervous to try you never know what to expect but my expectations were exceeded!! food was delicious I ordered what we call bistec encebollado almost better than my moms but don’t tell her that haha anyway first time going and we’re coming back next trip the coffee amazing staff great everything was simply great lol
