Everything we ate here tasted DELICIOUS. Hush puppies were the best I have ever had. Seriously wanted to eat the entire basket. Country fried chicken was fantastic and was paired to perfection with the mashed potatoes and green beans. Staff here were super friendly the second we walked through the front doors. We sat right away in the afternoon on a Saturday as well. I got Cracker Barrel vibes from this place but it seemed like REAL home cooking compared to CB. Don’t hesitate about thinking if you should try this place, just do it. For me and more importantly, for yourself.

If you love good southern home cooked meals this is the restaurant for you!!

The fried catfish is amazing!! Their desserts are super delicious!! And their corn fritters are some of my favorite!!!

I would recommend going there for lunch! The wait is not as long if long at all.

If you do go for dinner plan for an hour wait.. they are usually packed out at dinner!!

But if you have visited Pigeon Forge and never have gone once I would highly recommend you do!!

We been out here for a few days now. I will have to say, this place was wonderful. The first place we been to that had great service and the food was great. We did have to wait for a while to get in, but let me tell you, it was worth the wait.

The hush puppies were outstanding! They were soft and moist with a light crisp on the outside. Best I ever had! The corn chowder, amazing too. Even my picky kids loved it.
We also ordered the pork chops. They were lean, moist and flavorful. My young daughter thought it was chicken. My other child, ordered the chicken tenders and fries. It was also great tasting.

The server was very friendly and super nice. Very knowledgeable about the food. The best server I met here since we came on vacation. We will be coming back here again next time!!

We visited once four years ago when my girlfriend and I did our first adventure together to the smokies and we finished with an amazing evening with home style Southern dishes.

The food quality is great, portion sizes generous and service phenomenal.

We came back just now and went to dinner after I proposed while hiking in the smokies and The Old Mill paid for our dinner as a congratulations.

Truly a kind place worthy of your money.

Thank you!!

We had a 45 mins wait but it was worth it. The average plate was about $22-25 which is a steal considering it included soup, salad, a generous portion of your entree, mash potatoes and green beans and your choice of dessert. Everyone in our group ordered something different to share and everything was delicious. If you’re looking for a delicious southern meal this place will hit the spot.

This TN restaurant is a 10/10 absolutely delightful. We came twice with a party of 10 and were seated immediately and served the best fritters with maple butter and family style sides with delicious turkey and dressing dinners and all included with a dessert! The atmosphere is kitchen style tables and chairs and super clean. Great restaurant and service and food!

Got seated right away. Mine and my husband's first time here despite coming to the area over 5 times each over the years. Amazing food, great service. We see what the hype is about. I had pot roast so tender, he had grilled pork chops and loved them. So much food for leftovers! We both loved the soup and fritters. I even saw a river otter in the water after dinner.

First time visiting this restaurant and we were beyond happy with everything. The food was amazing, the service was above and beyond. I definitely recommend you try it. We had Derame as our server and he was absolutely amazing, on point. I would definitely come back. Their corn chowder and the corn fritters were amazing.

The speed of service here is definitely what makes this place super fantastic. I didn’t get how this place had so many five star reviews just from looking at it on the outside, but with that, and them owning of all of the shops around it is genius. You have speakers in all the shops announcing when the next person is up to get a table to eat. And they get people
In and out very rapidly. Many many plus points. Definitely enjoyed my experience =]

The food was very delicious. You get a lot of food. You get Corn Fritters, Corn Chowder, Side Salad, your Meal w/2 Sides and a Dessert. I had the Salad. It was huge. Husband has the Fried Chicken. It was very good

I live about 2 hours away from this restaurant. Have been wanting to try it for many years. With the wait time, I always didn't have time. Well, now I'm kicking myself in the butt. This restaurant was hands down the best food. I've eaten in a long time in the area. Please don't be scared of the 30 - to 45-minute wait is well worth it.

Outstanding dining experience. Our wait was about an hour, but it was well-worth it. Our server was Roman. He was attentive to a large section of diners. He was funny and gave us an excellent dining experience. The ambiance is an attractive log cabin vibe with a stream and a small fall next to the restaurant. We had the blackberry cobbler for dessert. Everything was delicious! Portion sizes are huge, so we split a meal. They do charge $12 for sharing. Overall, we really enjoyed eating here, and we hope to be back again soon.

In my opinion, one of the best places to eat in Pigeon Forge. There’s usually always a wait, but the shops around the mill keep you occupied for a while. The food is definitely worth waiting for. My family loves visiting here, and we will always keep coming back.

Never disappointed with our experience here. The chicken & dumplings are great! You get so much food that you'll leave overly stuffed. Mashed potatoes, and green beans that are unlimited for the whole table, as well as 1 refill on the chicken & dumplings that you can take with you (because you likely won't be able to eat another at the restaurant). The bread/fritters and maple butter are great also! Dessert comes with your meal too 😋

Beautiful location. Good food. amazing hush puppies with sweet butter served complimentary. Our server was also friendly, and fast. Drinks stayed filled and so did our mashed potatoes bowl. He did a great job.

Wow, this place is so good! Absolutely great southern cooking! We both had the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. Only picture I remembered to take was the glass of tea. This is the only way a glass of sweet tea should ever be served! Awesome place and well worth the wait. Several little stores to check out while you wait.

I am not completely certain if this restaurant was in what once a part of the mill or not but it did look like it. There is a wait but they call or text you like many restaurants in the area do now. They often call several parties at once and you can pretty well here them across the street if you wanted to wander the shops or general store
You have to walk up this long winding ramp to get to the door or you can take the elevator. Once in you can see it’s like a 3 level restaurant with the hostess stand and kitchen on the main level and then seating below and above the main floor. Some tables will give a good view of the river.
You are served rolls with this beautiful cinnamon butter and then the meals come with soup AND salad. It’s the only restaurant in my 40 years ever seen serve both salad and soup. The pot roast is fall apart soft and the chicken strips are really good. Dessert and drinks are included with the price. When we left I noticed that the desserts are pre plated but we had the chocolate cake and it’s frosting was not over the top and just right. You take your bill to the front to the cashier.
We went back several days later and had the pecan pie which was egh but than again I am used to my mamas pecan pie.
This restaurant is close to the mass transit center the KOA is within walking distance and with a little effort you can get to the island on foot from here as well.

I have visited pigeons forge for the last two christmases and both times this has been a must stop for breakfast. Even with the crowds there’s hardly no wait times and the service has been perfect each time. Their biscuits are spectacular(not pictured because we ate them too quickly 🤣😂)

We got there around 2:00 on a Tuesday afternoon in mid-February and got right in. I suspect it's not that way most of the time. Everything starts with corn chowder, and that alone was worth the visit. Meals also include corn fritters. I thought these had been cooked a tad too long and were a little dry, but the maple butter solved that. The menu had lots of good ol' home cooked meals. I had the country fried steak. It was actually 2 steaks, with delicious gravy. The mashed potatoes still had a few lumps, providing they were homemade. They didn't need gravy, but the gravy was so good I ordered it anyway. The green beans were cooked with bacon. It was enough for two meals. Cindy took great care of us. I drank a lot, but she kept my ice tea glass full. When we were there, the parking lot was closed for some construction project. This should be a priority when you visit the area.
