Taste good. Not to expensive. Soft fajita

My grandma loves this place & so do I now. The only thing that’s odd to me is that they give their chips in a plastic bag. Otherwise, the food is really good! Pretty much everything I’ve ordered, I loved. The ladies there are super friendly as well! We’ve ordered breakfast tacos, caldo, enchiladas, puffy tacos, a variety and all have been great!

Carne guisada and chicken fajita are great. Found a regular place for tacos now. Nice and full and lots of flavor. Green salsa is good also

Great food taste good long drive here but well worth it

AMAZING!!! I work nearby and try new restaurants when I get chance and I saw this place. Their Enchiladas Verdes are SO GOOD!! The service was quick and kind. Definitely the spot to go for a great meal and a comfortable atmosphere!

I've been looking for a top-notch authentic Mexican (read: not nasty fakey Tex-Mex) restaurant in the West Side of SA. Found it. Parking lot is tiny, so street parking may be in your future. Interior is typical cheesy, divey real south-of-the border fare, replete with clear plastic table covers (just like my grandma used to have). At 11:45 am, this place was hopping with 95% of the clientele of hispanic origin (along with a handful of anglo workers and military folks): an attestment to the authenticity. Service is friendly and prompt. Menu is impressive. Prices are rock bottom. Chips and salsa were top notch. I ordered carne con chile colorado (which BTW has nothing to do with nasty Texas "chili"). Food is...excellent: presentation, portion size, freshness, and flavor. Flour tortillas appeared to have been handmade recently. I walked out with a full belly for about $10.

5.99 for steak ala mexicana. Great deal ok service. But food was excellent. Whole plate was delicious definitely coming back

Menudo, & caldo de res were actually pretty good,caldo needs a little bit more seasoning pig feet on the side was good!

Came by with my friend for Sunday breakfast. Seating was available and our waitress was friendly and attentive. She got the tortilla soup which was delicious 👌🏽 and I had huevos rancheros, they were good as well.

Service is family friendly. Food comes out ina timely manner hot and fresh. They only thing I can say it may need help on is better tortillas. But they are still good. For the food, price and service, 5 stars is well deserved. I usually go across town for breakfast on the weekend with the family. EL PUESTO is so much closer and worth it. Give it a try. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

First time here, I don't get those low reviews. The food and service was top notch. I had the Shrimp and Fajita plate,my wife had a Puffy Taco (beef).
Let me tell you that was some delicious food. Fajitas were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. Shrimp was also nice and juicy. Only thing is they got more room inside than they do parking. Not a deal breaker, got get there early. Prices are more than reasonable, because the amount of food you get on the plate is more than enough. Also pics you see posted is exactly what you get PLENTY!! I should have taken pic before I started but like I said it was delicious.

Best Mexican restaurant I've been to foods has great flavor

So far one of my favorite breakfast spots in the area. Clean, friendly people, delicious food, fast service. Parking is a little tight but not a deal breaker.

Very tasty salsa, if you like a little kick to it. Good sized portions will fill you up. Tasty food looks good too. 1st time there, will return to try a few other items. 👍
