Moon Pie General Store and Original Book Warehouse

We saw this Moon Pie store and had to stop and take a look. They have a lot of nostalgic Moon Pie merchandise and a bunch of other things too. We were surprised at big the store was, and then we noticed there were stairs going down to another level. They have a sign saying “Prices so low, we keep them in the basement”. I enjoyed looking through their Christian section.

The store boasts an incredible selection of Bibles, local authors, and books to satisfy every bookworm's heart. 📚 Plus, they've got an awesome collection of pop culture goodies like Funko Pops. I couldn't resist grabbing a little Ted Lasso button and a cool Ted Lasso monopoly board. 🤓 Nerdy? Maybe, but I can't help it!

Nice store. Very friendly staff. Way more than Moonpies. This place has an amazing collection of unique gifts, snacks, and, of course, books. Definitely plan on spending a little time here if you're interested in looking at all the have to offer. At a minimum, you have to grab some Moonpies and check out their unique soda selection.

Okay, this store is one of the coolest tourist stores I’ve ever been to. Who would’ve thought that moon pies could be combined with a general store, and a Christian gifts and bookstore, to make such a cool tourist concept. Of course, there are more than only Christian books, and there are more than moon pie related items. This store has games, books, candy, souvenirs, and so many other things going for it.
On the plus side, the owners were out and talking to people, being very friendly. The staff was very courteous, and you get a free miniature moon pie when you leave! My family and I purchased quite a number of things, and had a good time exploring this shop. I recommend that if you’re looking for a quirky little gift shop to explore, and you’re on vacation, check this place out!

Loved this place, they even let you sample all the different types of moon pies anywhere from salted caramel to chocolate chip mint, and strawberry. Even had PS for you lovers out there that can't get enough!!

Absolutely loved this store found an author that I've never heard of being from Georgia that is from here from Tennessee. That apparently has some best-selling novels so I bought the first one which is Cades Cove. Can't wait to read it. It's a great store all kinds of gift ideas my sister loved it too she picked up a couple of books.

This is just a fun stop to see all the stuff they have. The moon pie stuff is great. Found flavors we have never seen before. There is also a book store area that has a large variety to choose from. The staff is kind as well.

You gotta stop here if you love moon pies! We found a coupon in the coupon book for a free box of 12 mini moon pies with a $20 purchase. They have so much awesome stuff and tons of books here. We love this store. We got an assortment of minis for free..loved it..will be back on our next trip! Stop in if you have a chance..there's a little or a lot of everything!

Never had a moon pie in my life, but that all changed today. They have about 8 flavors and then double-decker variants of those. There is also a massive book store on the other side, not to mention the basement. It was so much to take in and such good prices that I forgot to take pictures. It's definitely a good visit, God bless!

The best hospitality I've ever had in Pigeon Forge!
We decided to visit on a whim, and I'm glad we did. They had lots of cool stuff, ranging from books, christian themed items, kids toys, a small play area, puzzles, and of course everything Moon Pie. While we were shopping our smallest one decided he had enough and passed out on us. Well one of the older persons working named Bob apparently also noticed. He went out of his way to grab a cart and bring it to my wife for our son to lay down so we wouldn't have to carry him. It was very generous and helpful and we very much appreciated it. We need more Bob's.

Go to Moon Pie General Store and go see Bob. You can also shop while you're there.

The store is in a very good location, It's easily accessible and has a lot of parking.

The book shelves were a little bit confusing on how they were laid out other than the categories that they were in but we did figure it out.

You can get a free mini moon pie for each person that goes there and they have all sorts of different options for flavors.

They also offer a lot of christian-based gifts and books which is a good option for people that are looking for that.

Love the variety of puzzles they carry.
We also love trying the different Moon Pies.

So much more than Moon Pies but everything Moon Pie that you can think of! From T-shirts and socks to home decor and games. Tons of books , gifts and souvenirs and don't miss the downstairs.

I absolutely love this little store! I have been twice now and make it a regular stop when we go to Pigeon Forge. I also love that half of this store is also a bookstore. The people working there are also real friendly. It may be in an older building but it is definitely kept clean and tidy!

Such a cute one stop shop! Has everything you need! Staff very helpful and polite! Will definitely be a repeat customer.

I am not a moon pie fan, I have never been a marshmallow candy or cake fan, but I had seen moon pie coffee on a previous trip to the Smokies and I was hoping to find it here. I was not disappointed. They also have every flavor of moon pie, t shirts, rc cola, books and souvenirs. This is a great place to stop and shop and they have a place to take photos.

Omgoodness!! This store has it all, including the best staff. Everyone was so helpful and enjoyed talking to people. So much to choose from. We were so tired from shopping the whole day so we sat and played a game of checkers, which I highly suggest. Grab a mini moon pie when you come inside for free and take your time strolling through the store. It was a great way to end our week in Pigeon Forge.

Great selection of a variety of items including the MoonPie merchandise. Many comical and whimsical products. Friendly and helpful staff. A large bookstore is located in the basement. Every visitor gets a free mini-moonpie. Highly recommended!

I never miss the opportunity to go to this store. There are so many good books, souvenirs, puzzles and all sorts of fun gifts. The owners are very nice, and someone is always willing to help. And they have Moon Pies. 😉😉😊😋
