Geppettos Italian Restaurant

Amazing amazing amazing food!! Our server was super nice and even though we got in like just 30 mins before closing, they let us eat comfortably. While leaving we ordered all their desserts and the server called us back saying she might have missed one. Just a perfect dinner place with super awesome folks!!

In a nutshell, excellent food, wonderful service, family-friendly atmosphere, and high quality ingredients.

You can tell Shanna cares about taking care of all her tables - conscientious, but willing to take the time to get your order right and offer suggestions. Also, she took the time, even though she was super busy, to check on what kind of wine (sweet or dry) was used in their chicken marsala (sweet).

We ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer and lasagna and shrimp alfredo for our main course. The chef was gracious enough to add mushrooms and mussels to my alfredo.

They did not skimp on the alfredo sauce or the mussels or . . . Well, anything! Portions were very generous and you can tell everything is made from scratch. You can taste the real, fresh ingredients. The garlic knots that came with entrées were fresh out of the oven and were so wonderful dipped in the alfredo sauce. Omg, just so amazing.

Out of order here, but back to the appetizer . . . the fried mushrooms were delicious - crisp and not soggy or wet but not dry (perfect). The salads were oh so good - mozzarella cheese, very fresh tomatoes, cucumber, black olives, and purple onion (thinly sliced). Just amazing and I normally do not care for fresh onions or black olives in my salad. Shanna recommended the house balsamic vinegarette and I was not disappointed.

The only thing I did not like was what I think was ranch that came with the mushrooms - it is not made in house and tasted . . . Not like ranch lol.

We got desserts to-go because they looked so amazing, looking at other reviewers photos, but have not tried them yet.

I will definitely be back here. The pizzas being served around us at other tables looked so yummy.

This place is beautiful outside too. I love the blossoming trees and the barn exterior.

Due to Covid they have switched to plastic utensils and paper cups. It made it slightly more difficult to eat and a little less elegant, but more sanitary. They also had a plastic guard up at the register and waitresses wore masks.

I love the family-friendly, non-pretentious vibe here. Definitely my kind of place.

Restaurant quality food in a cafe setting. Calzones were really good, freshly made to order, and huge! Coconut cream pie was heavenly.
Great value, efficient service, will definitely come here again.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST RESTAURANT!!!! Home-made authentic recipes right from Italy. GREAT atmosphere and service. 100 health rating. No matter what you order it will be delicious. The garlic knots are fantastic!!!

Nice sitting area inside and out, friendly staff, has a great view of the mountains. It mite be a little hard getting in and out of the parking lot when it's busy. I liked the food spinach alfredo pizza and garlic knots.
Over all really liked it.

I was amazingly surprised with Geppetto’s Italian Restaurant! To be honest, I was not looking forward to going there but I’ll tell you I’m so glad I went. Everything we ate was great from the pizza to the chicken fingers and everything in between. My wife and I ordered the “MaMa Geppetto’s Meatball” pizza and it was amazing. We ordered the 14” which was plenty for the two of us. You could possibly feed three people off the 14” if they are not heavy eaters 😉. My daughter ordered the “Spaghetti with Marinara” off the Children’s Menu and it was great as well. The marinara had a great fresh taste to it and my son ordered the “Chicken Tenders (2) with Fries” from the Children’s Menu as well. Now, Geppetto’s knows how to fry some chicken fingers and fries. Both of them had that extra crispiness and crunchiness and to top all that off, we ordered the “Mozzarella Cheese Bread” which maybe the best I’ve ever had! It was like garlic bread with a generous potion of mozzarella melted on top. Absolutely wonderful! I was beyond amazed at the taste and quality of food Geppetto’s had to offer! We will be back for sure!

This is a classic example of a don’t judge a book by its cover scenario. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but the food and hospitality of this small town Italian restaurant was phenomenal. Miranda our server was exceptional. She was on top of her game tonight. Drinks were always topped off, food arrived quickly and her personality was top notch. She made our group of ten feet like home and is well worth the visit. We were in and out in under 90 minutes. Definitely a place worth trying out if you’re near by and can’t decide on what to eat for the evening. It won’t disappoint.

Excellent food and service! Everything we ate was delicious!! I highly recommend this restaurant. We were craving pizza and found this jewel on the side of the road in Wears Valley.

What a gem of a place in Wears Valley! Place was crowded but worth the wait. The red sauce was exactly what an Italian girl wants to taste and their homemade garlic knots are addicting. Don't pass this one up. Excellent Italian food!!!

Stayed at Cove Creek campground and ordered pizza and wings to be delivered. They delivered within 10 minutes, The Specialty Mama Geppettos Meatball pizza and 10 garlic parm chicken wings. That pizza🍕 was hot and fresh and so delicious 😋The wings were baked, crispy and full of flavor. The food was fantastic. I definitely recommend stopping by if going thru this town.

Oh my God!! The lasagna was so soft, you barely touched it with a fork and it was sliced. It was not spicy, but saucy (not dry). The salad had black olives, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, lettuce - just enough to tempt the palate but leave room for the main course. If you still have room, check out dessert. I tried my first canoli. They have plain or chocolate. Located a way down wears valley road, it is well worth the drive. Wednesday currently has an all you can eat spaghetti special. The staff was friendly and fast. Be sure to check it out, you'll be grateful!!

Possibly the best lasagna we have ever had! Chicken parmesan was awesome too. It was so good we forgot to take a pic before digging in.

Last Friday, we had a wonderful lunch on the outdoor patio at Geppettos!
My wife ordered the Calzone and I had the Meat Lovers Calzone and then to top it off ordered 2 Cannoli’s. The staff was attentive and fun to be around and the food was fantastic, so if you’re in the area – is highly recommended!

Excellent meal had here by the family. I had the special, pics below. Grilled chicken, penne, sun dried tomatoes, spinach and broccoli with white sauce. Great, fast service, awesome out of the way place.

Food was SO good. The pizza was some of the best I've had. We ordered carry out but as we waited, the staff was so kind and apologetic for our wait and the atmosphere was nice. Cozy place. If we come back to the area, we will definitely visit again.

I'm always skeptical when I see "homemade sauce" on a menu but this was the best Alfredo I've ever eaten. The staff was friendly. The service was excellent. There wasn't a long wait on the food. I can't recommend this place enough. 10/10

Me and my wife stopped by here to grab some pizza after going to cades cove. We orders the cheesy bread and a deluxe pizza. Was not disappointed. Pizza was cooked perfectly and was not greasy at all like other small town pizza restaurants. Would recommend this place and would definitely stop again!

My husband and I came to the Smokies for Valentine's weekend. We decided to stay at a cabin in Wears Valley this time instead of staying in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge like we typically do. Due to Gatlinburg and Pigeon being extremely crowded we decided to try a resturant in Wears Valley. I am so glad that we did! Gepettos did not disappoint! We ordered garlic knots as an appetizer. They were great! I ordered the lasagna that was some of the best lasagna I've ever had! My husband ordered pizza and he said it was really good too. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the Smokies.

We smelt this place going home and had to try before leaving and we are so glad we did. Amazing food and amazing prices. Family owned. So much food my husband and I shared a slice of Lasagna
