Great staff, 4 pool tables, and I've never paid a dime to play. Seems like every time I go the pool tables are open! Karaoke Friday and Saturday. It is a modern day Cheers! Great happy hour specials.

I'm not in smithville very often but when I'm there I enjoy having beer there it's always fun and funny!

The good ol' days... This place reminds me of the small town Texas beer joints my Dad used to go to. Pool tables, regulars around the bar and Karaoke on Saturday nights. Oh, wait, there was no Karaoke back then; but there is a small dance floor that is packed while a bit of dance music plays and gives the emcee a break.

Pretty girls and guys who have most of their teeth. (j/k guys!) Beer and wine only, you can get setups if you bring your own liquor. Good hometown "beer joint" as we called it in my childhood. Young and old, all types of locals and area folks show up here.

Plenty of tables and on a beautiful spring night when they through open the front and back doors and let fresh air flow through makes for a great night. This is only for those who set aside their snobbery, though. If you're sensitive that the bartender serves your wine in a small, individual sized plastic bottle, a styrofoam cup (and offers ice), then you should just move along... nothing here for you. But if you appreciate the down-to-earth feel and good people having a good time, Charlies is that place for you.

Everyone that comes to Charlie's are fun and friendly people. I love the kerioke singers they are great singers. The bartenders are fast and friendly and welcome you with a big smile. I love this bar.
