I highly recommend Check Plus if you are looking for storage in the Smithville/Bastrop area. They are honest and very responsive. Their property is always kept nice and clean.

We had a storage unit here for just over two years. Jeremy, the owner, was amazing to work with when needed. He was quick to respond with any questions that I ever had, any problems, etc. My husband and I have moved all over the country in the last six years, so we have had many storage units in different states. This is the first one that we have never had issues with bugs or rodents! For an outside facility, this is amazing! This is a family run business and I would easily recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a safe place to keep your important belongings. Thanks Jeremy for taking care of us!

Rented a storage unit here for a little more than a year. Jeremy was absolutely fantastic. I've had storage units other places before and was dreading having one again, but Check Plus made it super easy and if I had any issues Jeremy was quick to respond. I am still raving about all of the personal care, kindness, and attention we received from Jeremy as we were distance moving, storing, and accessing the decor for my daughter's wedding over a three month period. Stress was overwhelming in every direction were turned, but Jeremy was adaptable, compassionate, helpful, accessible even after hours, and he provided us with an unmatched level of professionalism and kindness that is not found in most businesses. He literally felt like family very early on in our process, and his pricing is not only fair, but it always seemed to favor our timeline. The prorating was prompt and helpful! I wish that there were 10 stars to give! I highly recommend Check Plus, and would not hesitate to entrust them with our stored items again.

This place is the best of the best y’all! It’s family owned and operated and we had nothing but great experiences with them! Always super prompt at responding to any of my texts with help or questions and just down right pleasant to work with:) They are the only storage facility we will be using from now on!

We had our things stored here for 4 months and never had a problem at all. The guy that runs the place is the absolute nicest guy and so very helpful. Its very convenient to pay because you have options to pay by phone or set up for auto pay. Over all the guy that runs the place made our move easier!

The owner is incredibly nice and easy to work with. We rented a climate controlled unit and it was easy to access, safe, and clean! We will definitely use them again in the future if the need arises.

I don't write many reviews, as my belief is that every company that provides a service should provide the best service. We looked around and I talked to several storage places in the Smithville and Bastrop Texas area. Some never called back, and or had such strict rules that is was tough to work with them. The gentleman at Check Plus was very helpful and handled things, not only with a great attitude, but has been great to work with. We just moved things out this weekend, so if you need a great spot, I would highly recommend them. Easy and secure access and top customer service.
